It sounds like the main thing you added was the arp...? and if so, while I definitely think the main remake going around is off on the synth for the arp, this one kinda falls even shorter of what the arp should sound like, but you're definitely on the right track! Try working a bit more on the synth (need to be a bit harsher and much more "in your face" if that makes any sense) and less delay or whatever it is you have going on behind the actual arp. Look into maybe using something like Maximus on the synth to bring it out in the mix more :)
