Born and bred in Southern California, Matt Egbert has grown up in a blender of different music. He grew up learning how to play blues and classical guitar until landing on electronic music at the age of 17. Since then, house music has become his true calling—Matt's distinct sound has earned him releases on respected labels like What’s NxT, Do Not Sleep, Short Circuit, Desert Hearts, Percomaniacs, and more. His tracks have also resonated on dance floors across the globe, championed by industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, and too many others to name.

Beyond producing and DJing, Matt is the founder of Front Left Recordings—a forward-thinking house and techno record label and event series. Front Left has hosted cutting-edge events in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, and Miami, featuring top-tier talent including Enzo Siragusa, Sidney Charles, wAFF, Kepler, East End Dubs, and many others. On the label side, Front Left Recordings drops a release each month from artists all around the world, boasting quite an impressive discography and artist roster.

He found his love for electronic music in the early 2000s, a golden age for House and Techno worldwide, before the internet era changed the game. A pivotal moment came in his early twenties when he moved to London, which allowed him to broaden his horizons, expand his network in the industry, and play at some of the UK’s top clubs. Influenced by house, disco, hip hop, and UKG, his first productions soon followed, gaining continuous support from DJs across the house music scene. Now based in Los Angeles, he regularly performs across the US and Europe, while continuing to expand his discography, which already includes labels such as PIV, Factory 93, Dansu Discs and Range, to name a few. 2025 also marks the launch of Blink, a new label project dedicated to high-quality and forward-thinking House Music.

This mix features some of my most requested IDs of 2025, along with tracks from close friends. Most of them are set to drop in the coming months on labels like PIV, Nothing Else Matters, and my newly launched label, Blink. 100% House Music!
