Niko Schwind’s latest output is a spellbinding five piece EP, with three original tracks and two remixes taking us down the rabbit hole.

‘Lost your Mind’ opens proceedings, building up on emerging synths that break down in a subversive atmosphere. Next up is ‘Existence’, a sinuous techy melody dotted by distorted cowbells intertwined with trippy vocals. Boy Next Door reworks the track, twisting it into its even more hypnotizing and entangling twin. Finally,‘Circles of Confusion’ seems to be composed of just that - circular cuts sprinkled with synths that round up the whole experience. Several Definitions gives the track a deep and dark reshape, using jarring synths and shuffling hi-hats that amp up the late night feel.

Zeitraffer Records is a record label in the realm of electronic dance music, based in Germany. It was founded in 2015 by Christian M, who is its owner and managing director. The idea goes back a few years, but was implemented completely only now for financial reasons. That is why Zeitraffer Records is still at the beginning of its career. Through the long-cherished dream of self- produced and distributed music, individual and diverse sound elements could be collected over the years for music production, which now mark the sound of Zeitraffer Records as unmistakable, fresh and innovative and thus have the potential to be club hits. By deliberately missing collaborations or other influences exercised by third parties, Zeitraffer Records represents original personal sound with recognition value. Right from the inception of its idea of music to video production, merchandise, marketing, gigs and so on, everything remain within its own production, whereby a reliable basic concept with flexible elements is provided. Attention to detail, German title, English vocals, unique sounds, generation of bipolar atmosphere and driving beats - that is the mission of the label for good music. The high standard applies not only to the level of music, but also to design the cover. Even though MP3s are currently more practical, Zeitraffer Records puts considerable emphasis on bringing out the items on vinyl because the latter produces a richer experience than MP3.

About the EP :
German brothers Monkey Safari drop their ‘Odyssey’ album on their own Hommage
imprint this October.
Monkey Safari are brothers who can look back on a personal odyssey that’s lasted
more than 30 years so far. They have a mutual musical spirit and through good and
bad times have only grown closer. As such, the artwork for the album reflects that and
was made by stitching both artist’s faces together, creating one persona from two
individuals.
As DJs the pair have played everywhere from Timewarp to Awakenings Festival. They
also own their own club, Charles Bronson, in their native Halle, Germany, and have
released remixes and original material on top labels like Kompakt, Minus, and John
Digweed’s Bedrock. The title of this impressive album reflects the journey the duo had
throughout the writing process. It was one that took a long time and went from initially
being about writing an album of listening music to evolve into being much more about
music for the club and for many different dance floors.
''From our perspective, when it comes to music, a very important parameter is
authenticity,” they say. “In our case it means we're playing dance music in clubs and
at festivals the whole year round. And even though it would have been interesting to
produce a "listening album" it wasn't the right time for that; which is why ultimately we
chose to produce a club album. After all, the club has always been the space that has
shaped us the most. It's a space that enables us to develop, test, and improve our
music on a constant basis!’’
The album kicks off with squelchy synths and intoxicating vocal coos before getting
more deep and stripped back, with a moody atmosphere pervading the supple
grooves. Things get more melodic and subtly uplifting as the album progresses and
tracks range from spooky to emotive to scintillating, with original ethereal vocals
making a number of appearances. Each track offers something different in terms of
mood and style, yet the whole album plays out like a perfect journey with all the
necessary highs and lows required. At the same time, the pair's exquisite synth work
and knack for well programmed drums always shine through and prove they are slicker
than average studio wizards.

"First conceptualized in 2011, Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy make up the Mononoid production duo. With recent releases, including their first album, on Einmusika Recordings, Lost & Found, Traum Schallplatten and remixes on a lot of other top notch labels it is no wonder that these two heroes are welcomed guests at every occasion. Their unique mixture of cinematographic and melodic techno forms highly enjoyable rides throughout every night. With the first track from this EP, „Avoidless“, they extracted the exact zeitgeist from the dancefloor to the studio, creating a driving Techno Bomb with a very catchy melody. „Silent Truth“ comes with a a deeper, mysterious atmosphere, that takes you on a thought provoking journey. TheGround is Florian Kruse and Hendrik Burkhard, - the two celebrated producers collaborated on a project that saw the release of 'Dediction' on Audiomatique Recordings last year. Happily, Steve Bug’s label has organised a stunning remix EP, teasing out many new directions from the killer source material. 

First up is Stelios Vassiloudis’s sleek remix of 'Creature', utilizing his signature feel for arrangement and dancefloor impact. The veteran Greek producer shapes an epic take on the original. 

The Berlin based Jonas Saalbach focuses his talent on 'Falling', which features the remarkable vocals of Mi.li.an. Saalbach teases out yet another slice of perfectly pitched emotional tech house, doing more than justice to the original. Saalbach also delivers a dub of the same track, pulling back the vocals and letting the groove take center stage.

Next up comes Vincenzo’s take on 'Crumbling Walls', which strips down the track and builds into powerful deep groove. The vocals are again by Mi.li.an, and sit perfectly within the melancholic, euphoric vibe. 

Fake Mood, the Russian producers, take on 'Undercover' and hone in on the track's innate melodic sensibility, creating a lush, dreamy dancefloor burner.The track is also presented here as an instrumental for the DJs.

Marseille based producer, DJ and live artist Elska has emerged as a rising talent within France’s electronic scene over the past twelve months having released his debut release on SINNERS back in April, with further material since arriving via the likes of Somatic Records, Awen Tales and more. Fresh from his latest EP, October signals a return to SINNERS as he delivers his latest EP entitled ‘Elegance’ – with the EP set to be released at midnight during the label’s ADE event at WesterUnie. 
 Lead cut ‘Elegance’ opens the package as deep, rich melodies meet restrained drum shots and bright synths, whilst ‘Neutron’ welcomes brooding basslines and blossoming lead lines amongst deeper, darker moments throughout.
