The remix continues a collaboration that saw Mistier write and sing on two original tracks for a Soul Button concept album, resulting in one of Soul Button’s most streamed tracks, ‘New Day’. Now, a year after the release of ‘Lost My Way’, the track re-emerges with a new sense of captivation, embracing lead singer Andre Mistier’s unmistakable vocals interwoven into a new, immersive sonic journey, available as extended and short edits. In fact, I had grown and explored in some ways but had written off other, more vulnerable, directions of self-inquiry. To find later that I had so much more to learn and confront was challenging.
