Deep Root Records label boss Francis Mercier (who has released on Spinnin & Armada) aka Emvafaya, joins forces w/ Spanish deep house maestro @arodes10 (who has released music on Armada & MoBlack) and UK electropop star and BBC fave Darla Jade.

The three of them turn the iconic festival fave of Adrian Lux’s ‘Teenage Crime’ into a deep and melodic version of tomorrow’s dance music.

Stockholm based DJ & producer Sebjak cues up another juicy collaboration with fellow Swede, Fahlberg. Following recent club hits on MoBlack Records and Bibliotheque Records, the dynamic duo drop one serious summer anthem contender for Blond:ish’s ABRACADABRA imprint, with the single ‘Somebody’.

Already a staple in Blond:ish’s DJ sets, and picking up serious heat with the dancers, this breezy and heady house track builds steadily, setting the groove perfectly with galloping percussion before teasing in its main vocal hook, blasting this happy happy track into the stratosphere!

“The track was actually made over one and a half years ago, with no real intention to release it at first, we just loved the vocals and the concept around it. But after sending it out to some DJ friends and artists, Viv picked up on it, and when she started to play it, we noticed how many people were asking about it. The hype around the track began to live its own life and started to grow organically, and the amount of requests for this song became so many that we had to finally release it!”

"Not the Same" showcases the unique musical background and story of each artist as well as their musical innovation. After graduating in 2018, the Clubhouse lead singer Max was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, spent the year in treatment and relearned to walk. 

He became cancer-free multiple times but relapsed repeatedly. Despite six years of battling cancer, Max continues to make music with his bandmates. Nitefreak, Imad, and Clubhouse consider "Not The Same" to be one of their best works yet. And it appears to have earned the approval of some of the biggest names in the Afro scene.
