Their originals are more melodic techno, but high class productions and we are proud to have them.

The title track EXPLORE is a club banger peak time killer, outstanding track with an amazing vocal. We really miss the real club life with this one. We suppose that many DJs could play it.

The second track BEYOND has an opposite attitude. Dark, melancholic mental techno stuff. Amazing break, massive groove and a very simple, but professional melody as drive.

Big news: DANITO is on board with an excellent remix. He made a trippy deep melodic house tune for the title track Explore. It is also very unique in the genre.

The second remix is from NO DISTANCE, the guys made yet another amazing remix with their own signature melodic sound, wide synth riffs, deep basses and driving grooves.

Sol Selectas is proud to present the 2nd album from DJ, producer, and label founder Sabo. The “Buddy System” is a collaborative effort spanning over 3 years of work.

Sabo recalls taking field trips in elementary school as a child, and how all students were asked to find a buddy. Students held hands in pairs, while traveling from destination to destination, looking out for one another. The album mirrors this concept, with Sabo teaming up with various musician and producer buddies, while touring around the Globe.

The history of each song is a travel diary of Sabo’s stamp filled passport, with musical ideas traveling back and forth across oceans and equators, in order to finalize the projects. One can hear the musical roots of Persia, India, Ancient Greece, Spain, and Jordan, with influence from time spent at his buddy’s studios in Mexico, Switzerland, Argentina, and Berlin. The different backgrounds, cultures, and styles combine to create something unique, and emphasizes the importance of working and creating together - as Buddies.

The artwork by Helia Jamali displays a dreamscape of a wolf pack circumnavigating the galactic Universe. Wolves survive best in packs, each buddy helping out the other. Sabo’s spirit animal is the wolf.

One of many new acts that have joined Anjunabeats in our twentieth anniversary year, trance super trio Elysian is composed of three of the genre's brightest stars: ilan Bluestone, Maor Levi and Emma Hewitt.

Their debut EP ‘Water’ was released back in September, and received rave reviews by many in the Anjunafamily and beyond. It featured 'Moonchild', 'Beyond The Comfort Zone', 'Water' and 'Little Star', which has now been remixed by Elysian's own Maor Levi.

Maor Levi has been a semi-regular contributor to Anjunabeats over the years, but always an important one - he first signed to Anjunadeep at the age of 15 with 'Lital'. Over the years he's produced many label classics, many of which have featured in our 20 Years Of Anjunabeats mix series. His own 20 Years compilation - featuring 'Reflect', 'Won't Say No' and his remix of Above & Beyond's 'World On Fire' - was released earlier this summer. 

He’s equally adept in a number of genres, producing trance, progressive, deep house, dance hall and displays this skill with this remix.

Here is what Mira writes about the idea behind the compilation:
For the past ten years now, I’ve celebrated my birthdays by inviting all my favorite cats to play – we started off at Kater Holzig before moving to our home at Kater Blau in 2015. For the first time since it started, and for obvious reasons, 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch won’t be happening, on what would have been the tenth anniversary of
the series.

I’ve been wondering for a while now how I can make up for the missed year - streams already feel a bit outdated, and you just can’t imagine the vibe of the event without actually being there, getting beautifully lost in those days and nights, hugging old friends and making new ones. You can’t even explain that feeling, so you definitely can’t live-stream it.

Instead, this year 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch will be a compilation of some of the amazing artists from the past ten years, and even some of the new faces I would have booked this year. In a way, it’s the perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far, and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau
somewhere in the future.

The compilation will be split into two sections: Heinz Hopper and Acidbogen, reflecting the two floors of Kater Blau, each with their own special flavor and sound. The whole record is programmed the way I would schedule the artists across the two floors for my birthday, warming up at the start before things start getting more
intense later on. I guess you could say it’s a concept album, in which the audience wanders into our lovely little circus on the river Spree, and experiences one of my birthdays from start to finish, split across both floors of Kater Blau.

Much like my parties and my sets, the idea is for the listener to get lost in these tracks and to experience them as a whole piece. At the end of it all you leave with a feeling that maybe, just maybe, cats & music were the answers after all. Even in times like these.
