The collaboration between Kelton Prima (Mathematics Rec) and Hard Ton marks another step forward. After their cover of Culture Club’s mega hit Miss Me Blind, that got released last year on Nang with a set of great remixes, this time they bring back to life Too Funky, the seminal track by George Michael, celebrating hedonism, love and fashion. The Glamour, the fun and the funk are not missed in their version, with a strong reminiscence of 80’s disco and soulful pop. “Would you like me to seduce you”?

The package comes with the original and dub versions alongside remixes from Norwegian disco don Prins Thomas and Love Attack label head Alan Dixon.

Part psych, part world, part tribal. The aptly named duo Mushrooms Project have an ease in which they blend a range of unique elements into cohesive and heady pieces of sonic art. Mondo Janga is an EP that avoids formula entirely, and can be club or home centrepieces. In our ears, their signature sound blends playful percussion, and a strong contingent of sample and synth exploration. That sound is showcased perfectly in these 3 tracks.

Carefully selected artists were enlisted to re-interpret the original visions. With 3 remixes of the title track Multi Culti’s Thomas Von Party took Janga to the late hours, with his deep and driving remix. While Twerking Class Heroes put their broken beat bliss stamp on the same and finally a tasteful and elegant organic interpretation by Italy’s rising Migra. Finally, Da Iguana slinks his way to another quirky and exciting remix of Mondo that will have you jumpin’.

Psychedelic, dark and haunting, Piscolabis embraces all the styles dear to Antoine Harispuru and emerges as a striking opening onto new worlds, and his fourth studio album features a wealth of guest talent in the form of French artists The Liminañas and Tim Glass; Japanese vocalist, composer and sound designer Narumi Herisson aka Vega Voga; Australian trio Funboys; and Spaniard Pajaro Sunrise.
 
‘COLIBRI is a psychedelic labyrinth, a sentimental and hypnotic ascent that radiates on the dancefloor. VARIATION SUR 3 BANCS featuring The Limiñanas', immerses us in the world of acid western and psychedelic pop ; a hitchhiker’s fever dream. On TOKOYO NO KUNI, Golden Bug invites Japanese singer Vega Voga to craft a bridge between their two cultures by creating a musical epic, sounding like an imaginary, acid-drenched Toshiya Fujita movie. With its slow rhythm and spellbinding melodies, LA BOITE NOIRE explores Berlin electronica immersed in chloroform. NID DE GUEPES’ interstellar flute wraps around slowed dub effects, like a 45 played at 33, and evokes emotion by repeating its heady loop, an obsessive and mutant vision of music. BRING THE LIGHT with the support of Spanish singer Pajaro Sunrise is an ideal springboard to touch the stars and explores the clear face of Golden Bug by fusing choppy oriental guitars, solar vocals and dub rhythm. Without interruption, KOTODAMA continues the journey to an unknown planet, on which Vega Voga comes to pose her suave voice on dark electronic arrangements, transforming itself into indescribable and harmoniously eccentric binary code. To end this journey, LE CHANT DES SIRENES, carried by the voice of Frenchman Tim Glass, plays along the lines of scintillating and nebulous pop.

Here is the Set that i played at Fusion Festival on the Bachstelzenfloor this year. It is a quite different set from the last one. I played almost exclusively with short loops and not whole tracks, that way i sometimes would like a few more arms and hands to play, but am also able to be absolutely in the moment and create music that is exactly for that moment and those people in front of me. Playing Live is a huge challenge, but i am looking forward to keep developing and creating. 
Thanks for all the dancers and their vibes who made this what it is.

The debut Vinyl of the germafrican duo LADS, gets a nice twist in form of 3 remixes, coming from the two new debutants Baez and Urmet K, as well as a well formed house retouch of core NWS artist Varaz.

"Cedar" is being re-imagined a second time by another new estonian artist on NWS, Urmet K. Different to baez, he keeps the ground atmosphere true to the original, while also trying to build a more captivating and hypnotic groove, surrounding the beautiful vocals of Gary himself. Middle-eastern instruments and drums really sell the authenticity of the vocals and bring this remix into the dusty deserts.

It was important for us to set this ecological emergency to music.
That’s why beyond the catchy and dancing side, solemnity and sadness emanate
from this track. Our animal totem is the Monkey and you will hear some of his cries. Human being are so close to him, we imagine the monkey as the jungle
spokesperson, trying to alert us when his home is dying…

Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.
