The second track is called “The riddles and mysteries of the Betaal”. In india there is the legend of King Vikram, who promises a sorcerer to capture a celestial spirit known as the Betaal. Each time he tries to capture it, it tells a story that ends with a riddle, and then it escapes. These stories told by the Betaal, make up the literary work known as the Vetala Panchavimshati, which is like an indian One Thousand and One Nights. My father used to read these stories to me and my sister when we were children.

With that said, there is an undeniable passion for human history that shines through every aspect of his artistry. Always inspired by the enigmatic nature of our species, every piece of music he produces is a musical story, wrapped into baselines, pads and traditional percussion from every corner of the world. While sounding like no one else, there is always something very recognizable in his music. There is something very human about it. After all, it is the essence of humanity, and what it means to be human, that he tries to explore in the the beats that he produces.
