Oleeva records is a label run by the Kotu duo with an aim to release authentic electronic music. Always accompanied by an original piece of artwork.

We believe that all art forms should be appreciated and combined to submerse your senses.

Art that inspires art is one of the best forms of inspiration; the auditory inspired by the visual, the visual inspired by the auditory.

This collaboration amongst the artists is key to producing something greater than ourselves. Through collaboration we learn from each other, progress, and add to the strangely beautiful complexity of the universe.

Even dance music has a beginning and an end that sometimes solely relies on subtle harmonies that breathe with organic sounds of nature and the world.

Cinematic vocals and and a patient arrangement contribute to Saudade Pt II being one of the most memorable records on the release.

Release Info: 
Moonwalk put the spotlight on exotic soundscapes in Fatima, a cinematic release with three original pieces, blending their usual lively electronic explorations with an oriental flair.

The title track commences with subtly rousing drums, gradually building up a melancholic groove, perched on a backdrop of warm pads and spiralling synths.

Another set of oriental-inspired percussion comes to life in Zed, a lengthy journey of winding pads and shimmery riffs. The wailing vocal makes for a distinctive sound bite, while blending in deftly with the aid of a dramatic lead merged in ethereal throbs.

Mosaic brings forth another apt fusion of electronic and otherworldly elements. The symbiosis between the two remains linear, with incidental swings to each side of the realm, proving the artists’ ability to steer through divergent moods and combine them into a unitary, curious composition.

Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with a lethal new two track EP led the label bosses themselves. The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Astre', and it comes strapped an inimitable remix from ethereal techno master and founder of Steyoyoke; Soul Button.

'Astre' is a memorable melodic anthem with a signature groovy rhythm, it's certain to light up the dance-floor.

Since 2016, Soul Button has only ever released music via his own label, so it is a very special occasion as Hicky & Kalo welcome him to the ranks of Plaisirs Sonores. His remix of 'Astre' is a beautiful dreamy piece with angelic bells and hypnotic shakers.
