An artist of global repute, Nick Varon’s celebrated DJ career has seen him at the forefront of the underground dance scene. Able to weave a magical spell with his expertly crafted sets, he has been lauded by the likes of Nick Warren and Sharam while regularly supporting fellow countryman, Hernan Cattaneo across the globe. A similarly impressive production career has seen Varon a regular on Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music with 2012’s “Shibuya” and 2017’s “Sky Ladder” making strong impressions. “Over & Out” is a typically strong progressive offering as heavy rolling beat and light ticking percussion form a foundation for textured pads to supply depth and emotion while a plucked motif adds substance and interest to the powerful groove.

Successful artists in their own rights. Ezequiel Anile and Nicolas Petracca have forged an impressive collaborative relationship under their EANP contraction. Working together since 2014, their inimitable style has seen a seamless blend of techno, progressive and deep house result in an array of memorable sets with the likes of Nick Warren and Nick Muir. Standing alongside, impressive production credentials have given the duo a clutch of high-profile original releases for the likes of Movement, Mirabilis and Paul Hazendonk’s MNL. EANP’s Suffused Music debut is thus an intelligent reworking of Varon’s original as a vocal cut repeats the track title while a hypnotic four/four beat and percussive groove lay the foundations for a chorus of pads and white noise to create a wonderful crescendo at the mid-point. A driving anthemic third movement full of bass and melodic prowess provides real intent.

Nicolas Rada is a name that requires little introduction. Regular collaborations with Nick Warren have seen the duo remix Eelke Kleijn’s “8 Bit Era” before joining forces for the four-track “Land of Dreams” on Warren’s own The Soundgarden imprint in June 2018. Some 300 production credits have seen Rada as a regular on the Balkan Connection label family and supported by a global elite; DJ performances across his Buenos Aries hometown and a Mexican tour with fellow countryman, Nicholas Van Orton, has seen his following swell. Creating a wonderfully charismatic reworking of “Over & Out”, a delicate beat and swirling arpeggio form a sumptuous opening that gradually evolves over its eight-minute voyage. Building gently, subtle vocal phrasing is introduced while clever use of Varon’s remix parts create an innovative new interpretation that blossoms through the breakdown and third movement.

Italian artist, Danny Lloyd, has been at the forefront of the progressive house genre for a number of years. An artist with a rich and varied production history, over a century of credits tell their own success story with music signed to Balkan Connection and Particles. Lloyd’s collaboration with Andrea Cassino under their Nocturna pseudonym has also provided considerable success on Proton Music. Returning to Suffused Music the Danny Lloyd remix takes “Over & Out” in an exciting new melodic direction as a swathe of additional production material, melded with Varon’s components, has created an original interpretation that drives relentlessly forward with dynamic bass groove and intricate percussive rhythms. A new chord progression adds further intrigue as does a searing breakdown full of melodic prowess.

Sebastian Busto offers us a stunning piece of progressive house with "Machines". Having gained recognition in recent times with releases for prominent labels, his newest offering on Movement recordings is an absolute stormer of a track. Perfectly crafted futuristic tech funk with infinite shades of delicate colour that has left us hungry for more from this talented  Argentinian. 

Tash's Movement Recordings kicks off 2019 by welcoming Sebastian Busto to the label for his debut EP. Known for his pure progressive sound the Buenos Aires resident has become a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, having appeared in the sets of the legendary DJs on multiple occasions. The Argentinean artist also lays claim to an impressive discography, highlighted by releases on Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden. Now making his much anticipated Movement Recordings debut, Sebastian presents his ‘Machines' EP.

Beginning the title cut Sebastian explores the deeper side of his studio repertoire. Free and flowing from the outset it's well carved low end provides momentous swing while quirky hooks and timely vocal gates fill in the framework. Stripping down into the main break, the vocal narrative expands, opening up a spiritual reservoir before effortlessly shifting energy into a buoyant finale act.



Sebastian Busto is an innovative Argentine producer who knows how to create dreamy atmospheres through an elegant and melodic progressive house, with a touch of old school sound. His passion for music was born in his childhood. At the age of eight years he started his studies in piano, and at 14 he entered the Conservatory of Music to study music theory, singing and guitar. His first steps in professional music he gave leading rock bands that made big impact on the local scene. With several albums and tours under his belt in 2014 he decided to turn his career towards his other passion: dance music. This passion was born circa 2002 after hearing a devastating set at Creamfields from argentine dj Hernan Cattaneo. Since then his influences came from the hand of the more elaborate progressive house, in the way of Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, and other legendary djs.

Spanish sensation Squire is back on Kindisch with another phenomenal set of works titled ‘No Returns’. The three track EP exhibits Squire’s magical talent brilliantly. The opening track ‘My Last Growth Of Feathers’ starts the journey with slow burn, warming up with deep tones chugging along accompanied by an effectively simple percussive pressure. Bringing the track to the next level and beyond, Squire lays out a hauntingly good vocal for us to enjoy. The skies get a bit brighter with ‘Permanent Route’ and the energy rises. The atmosphere created here is dreamy as the percussion deliberate, giving us a beautiful flow and drive. The final track, ‘Yaowin Caramel’ spills out with a very tactile touch as an elegant tech-house after-hour heater that creates a stunning vibe and holds it beautifully.

Melodic progressive with a distinct spiritual vibe is offered to us by the talented young Almad on Playhouse time records. While gathering support from Sasha and Joris Voorn he weaves a majestic track in modern balearic style. "Still" is pure gold and featured on the "Amcha" ep, out 11.1.2019

Greek born and now Ibiza / Stockholm based house producer and DJ Almad conjures up blissful, skin-kissed Balearic days and nights with his gorgeous ‘Amcha’ EP, released on PlayHouse on 11 January 2019.

Opening track, the funk-laden yet serene ‘Amcha’ is full of exciting percussive elements that grab your attention to deliver a full-on groove odyssey.

The idyllic ‘Blue’ is a dreamy cut with a cool synth riff and driving feel which immediately transports the listener to a sumptuous place of golden sands and crystal-clear clue waters.

Closing track, ‘Still’ has a hypnotic, tribal refrain which then delves into deeper and darker territories, whilst still retaining Almad’s trademark music groove.

As well as being heavily influenced by Ibiza, Almad is inspired by his research on healing sounds. ‘Amcha’ means A minor and cha which stands for chakra. ‘Blue’ symbolises the sea’s healing powers, created by diving deep into the ocean. ‘Still’ represents clean, pure energy that comes at the end of spiritual healing. 

Almad ‘Amcha’ EP is already winning strong praise from such leading DJs as Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez, Joseph Capriati, and Richy Ahmed.

Almad, aka Alex Mantidakis, is a rising house music producer / DJ originally hailing from Athens, Greece. Music has always been at the forefront of his mind having been a pianist from the age of 4. It was only until YouTube came along that he began to discover music further afield with more of a contemporary sound and began the transfer over to house music.

Moving to Stockholm is where Almad’s music career began to take off. From running his own events at Cafe Opera to DJing across the board the love for this industry shone through. Thought his time here one place was always mentioned, Ibiza, the place where his whole world changed back in 2013 following his debut visit to the white isle. 

Ibiza quickly took a hold of Almad and shaped his sound, resulting in him producing exciting new music and playing at some of the island’s most respected venues, including Ushuaïa, Km5, Chiringay, Es Vive, Hard Rock Hotel, and Pacha’s El Hotel. Almad currently splits his time between Ibiza in the summer and Stockholm in the winter.

Almad now has two other EPs under his belt on his PlayHouse Time Records - ‘Airplane’ and ‘Into The Groove’. Almad’s music has been championed by a variety of top selectors including Black Coffee, Joris Voorn, Mat.Joe, Sasha, Marco Carola, and Luna City Express.

Suulo Vs Curl present a lush trip into ethnic house vibes with their debut on ZEHN records. Despite their young age these two have developed a mature sound that resonates with crowds who tend to search for open spaces instead of crowded city centres. "Tapanas kitchen" catches the vibe of a desert oasis draped in a mirage and is the perfect sound of 2019.

Raised in Solingen, brothers Marius & Fabian found a mutual love for house and disco music from an early age. Through the realization that music connects them in a special way, they started putting on local parties and soon after delved into their own productions. The duo eventually received support from the Kittball Records family appearing on their Ibiza Global Radio show multiple times before signing to ZEHN Records. Their 'City of Belem' EP kick starts 2019 for the ZEHN Records imprint which is set to be yet another productive year for the label following releases from Modul Kollektiv, Los Cabra, Deniz Kabu & Wolfson and Daniel Rateuke.

The EP acts as a tribute to their South American trip a few years back and takes in an array of influences from that journey. Kicking off with 'City of Belem' which maintains typical ZEHN Records aesthetics of organic percussive offerings, journey filled atmospherics and alleviating melodies before delicate synth fluctuations, undulating low end and wonderful euphoric break downs take the focus in 'Tapana's Kitchen'

A killer stripped-down track from Ramona Yacef and remixed by Basti Grub. Ramona has been making waves with her minimal house aesthetic and sharp productions during 2018. On this flip Basti Grub reshuffles the track into superb afterhours territory while keeping it funky and moody.

the opener Enceladus is a deep, absorbing house number with well crafted kicks rolling with dub warmth. Icy hi-hats and snappy chords join the mix to make this a slick bit of dancing music. The always hard to predict Basti Grub remixes with his intricate groove, flipping the cut into a superb bit of minimal with wood block hits,watery droplets and alien vocals all getting under your skin. Le Soleil is the next original and is a hard hitting bit of stripped back house. It’s perfect for those cosy clubs andlate night moments, with the bare elements all making a real mark. Last of all, Milky Way closes out the tastefulEP with another paired down house track that is all about supple and subtle synth lines, barely there rhythms and late night hypnoses, while the chords add soul. This is a killer EP once more from this leading underground house label.

Culprit’s Spanish producer contingent grows one stronger with the addition of AFFKT to the LA imprint’s family. Marc Martinez Nadal, aka AFFKT, joins a handful of artists – Edu Imbernon, Uner, Henry Saiz, Pablo Bolivar and El_Txef A - who have contributed to Culprit’s identity over the years. The label is fast becoming home away from home for Iberian artists. AFFKT’s contribution fits into this tradition of superbly produced melodic house with his “Manifesto”

AFFKT is a prolific artist, getting his start through hometown Valencia’s famous dance music brand, Barraca, a decade ago. Since then, he’s been on a steady upward trajectory, releasing quality original material on Suara, Kling Klong, Upon You and his own label, Sincopat. His remixing has been particularly in-demand – the likes of John Talabot, Spencer Parker, James Teej, Henry Saiz and many more have gotten the AFFKT treatment.

Subdust music delivers a brilliant flight into the horizon with Ramzi Benlakehals mix of Yann Sellas "Turning Circles". Defined by majestic atmospheres and subtle vocals, the mood balances perfectly between ambient influenced progressive house and electronica with elegant pop sensibilities. 



French alternative / ambient producer, Yann Sella, burst onto the scene in 2018 with his debut single 'Turning Circles' featuring Manchester Rain; and follow up, debut EP: 'Existence'. Both releases garnered critical acclaim with the likes of WeRaveYou calling the EP a "mystifying body of work" and "impeccable ambience". With the hype that surrounded the single; record label, Subdust Music teamed up with remix platform WAVO, to offer producers and DJ's worldwide a chance to submit their take on the original track. From nearly 100 submissions; three winners were chosen for release, creating this EP; Turning Circles (Remixes). The remixes come from Ramzi Benlakehal (Algeria), Edenframe (USA) and Signalfluss (Germany) - and are all dreamy House takes on what was an acclaimed ambient experimental track. French producer, Yann Sella, experiments with soundscapes and sonic textures. Yann Sella grew up listening to rap, electronic, and score music; and is now influenced by the likes of electronic producers and Djs; like Jon Hopkins, Moderat, Tale of Us and Ben Frost; but also by talents like the more eclectic Tokio Myers, Sohn, London Grammar and score music composers like Hans Zimmer and John Williams, just to name a few.
