For the 119th episode of our podcast series, we're thrilled to welcome the amazing Japanese artist: DJ  YAZI.

His set, created as a deep introspective sonic journey, takes the listener through different energy levels, from nostalgic sounds to more uplifting vibes. His unique mix of hypnotic grooves and trippy elements really showcases his great sense of storytelling.

DJ Yazi is an original member and DJ of "Think Tank," a group of menacing black smoke collective that continues to pour out high-purity deep trip music, and the resident DJ of El Nino, the organizer of "Black Smoker Records”. He is a man who is trusted for his ability to manipulate a variety of genres and color the floor with his own unique style. He hosts the techno/industrial-based event "Konvektion" with Takaaki Itoh.

He has also provided mixes for world-class platforms such as Bassiani, Dimensions, CrackMagazine, and Dekmantel.

With a strong focus on the scene, he has been expanding his activities not only in Japan but also in Europe and internationally, and has been shaking up various late nights with beautiful colors in the twilight of the night.

Oneiromancer - Basium

Este trabajo forma parte de un nuevo ciclo creativo donde estoy desarrollando técnicas y enfoques en constante evolución. Fue concebido especialmente como una propuesta para la comunidad de Bitz Tune @bitz.tune  y Mercurio Ravez @mercurioraves.

El viaje sonoro que presento se construye a partir de una fusión ambiental diseñada para que el cuerpo fluya en el movimiento, sostenida sobre bases hipnóticas y minimalistas. El groove emerge como un elemento de contraste, rompiendo con una mezcla de violencia controlada y calma inquietante que genera tensión y liberación en la pista.

Cada capa, cada transición y cada textura fueron trabajadas con precisión para invitar a una experiencia inmersiva. Mi intención es que este set sea tanto un espacio para la exploración corporal como para la contemplación profunda.

Confío en que disfruten este trabajo tanto como yo disfruté el proceso de creación y experimentación detrás de él.

En palabras de HND3Z "Desde su incursión en la escena en 2020, HND3z ha desarrollado un enfoque sonoro distintivo que fusiona su pasado como baterista en hardcore, rock y metal industrial con la esencia del techno contemporáneo. Su identidad artística se nutre de los sonidos de los 90 y 2000, explorando paisajes metálicos e hipnóticos que lo posicionan dentro del underground electrónico con un sello único.

Inspirado en bandas sonoras de cine y música clásica, construye narrativas que potencian la fuerza de sus presentaciones. Sus sets se caracterizan por curvas sonoras cautivadoras, donde la música ambiental y las atmósferas profundas se entrelazan para generar experiencias inmersivas que trascienden lo meramente auditivo.

Su propuesta se fortalece a través de un formato híbrido en el que la mezcla tradicional convive con sintetizadores y pedales analógicos. De esta manera, controla la atmósfera con precisión y crea momentos de tensión e intensidad que transforman la pista en un espacio para la exploración emocional. Para él, el techno no es solo ritmo: es una experiencia visceral que conecta con el alma."
