The Florida-based artist found their calling at rock bottom—after an overdose and a breakup that stripped everything away, they made a choice: trade one habit for another. The drug habit became a music habit, and they haven't looked back since.
Drawing from the sonic textures of Sonic Youth, the crushing weight of Deftones, and the intricate beauty of Minus the Bear and The Sea and Cake, Jaxx crafts something that doesn't fit neatly into any box.
