All the sounds you are about to hear are made from real instruments, I used 3000 year old Mayan ,Aztec and Inca flute samples.
Ancient civilizations didn't used the same notes we use today, those early musical instruments like flutes were just mimicking what they heard in the rainforest, animals like birds, owls, wolfs, parrots etc...
This is by far the largest piece I wrote and I am exhausted.

This is the 4th song posted from the album I started using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic when I had extra time due to society closing down. This song was inspired by Black Lives Matter and my own experiences with the police growing up in the California East Bay Area in the 80s. 

It has been an incredible opportunity working with Wou-Wou, Stricknice, and Bitzone on this album. I feel like we have a realized sound and vision for the overall style of the album. It is exciting to know that we have many more tracks ready to be released.

I wrote this melody when I was a student. I remember: it was just before going to work (pizza delivery boy.) It was very quick to find. 

The first version has a bad sound. But the idea was saved. Present. And she accompanied me for almost twenty years.

Today, I completely redid it with new knowledge. Because for 20 years I tell myself that I have to re-record it!

Introduction in English:

Most recently, after a long time, I was at the "Black Cafe" on Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. And as I sat there, I remembered a scene from my life that was the starting point for the song "Treason:
About 25 years ago I'm sitting one Saturday morning at three o'clock in the Black Cafe. Although I hardly ever drink alcohol, I'm drinking my third glass of vodka to wash down the increasingly painful shock of a triple betrayal: 
My wife betrayed our fidelity alliance because she cheated on me. My best friend betrayed our friendly loyalty because my wife cheated with him. And finally, I betrayed myself by taking poor care of myself and blindly trusting them.
The associated feeling of "nothing is the same as it was before" and "everything that seemed so right now appears wrong, upside down, or in shambles..." I have tried to express with this song.

Here's a guitar jam/solo I wrote that takes inspiration from the guitar solo section of Poison's Bodytalk, as I am a huge Richie Kotzen fan, he's one of my favorite guitar players. I made this long jam and just free-styled over it. I added a lot of layers with the use of organs/electric pianos and some trumpets. 
All guitars, bass guitar and organs/pianos were recorded by me, as well as the programming for the drums, trumpets and sax.
My go to guitar for the entire song was my schecter custom

Saludos to my longtime collaborator Negritage @negritage, he is a magnificent laid back Dub master located in Argentina.. I met Negritage on SoundCloud 10 years ago he was here a lil before me .... Because of our musical compatibility  with "dub" we have been continuously doing reggae dub collaborations "on and off, " .. Maybe a dozen or more songs between us.. ... Now I have been remixing the songs to make them more suitable to add "my style" type instrumentation, effects , tempo , vocal overdubs on top of  his basic riddims etc , it works better that way ..;)  ..Negritage actually the name of a popular live  band  in Argentina  ,  "Willsan " the band leader has been my " bridge" to the band  , he send me  riddims  &  does all communications  ...  I therefore call  Willisan  "Negritage" :) Also in my personal opinion his band is one of few "true traditional dud reggae" band around currently  "WORLDWIDE" ... ... .. I think about the Mediterranean while writing these words. An island is capable of enclosing all this meaning, a little spot full of dreams and strong vibes.

This piece has been composed during the confinement experienced in Spain due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

Inspired by my old studιes on classical guitar of some very old music styles, like Medieval-Renaissance (15-17th century) with a modern touch of ambient guitar playing (a classical-ambient guitar fusion!)
