An old track of ours remixed, remastered, to take advantage of some knowledge I have acquired over the last few years. Also replayed the piano and added a few things to make the line a little more interesting. Lastly, I changed some bass notes in the hope of pulling it all together better. And you have to visit Gina and Davy to hear more of their great music.

All the sounds you are about to hear are made from real instruments, I used 3000 year old Mayan ,Aztec and Inca flute samples.
Ancient civilizations didn't used the same notes we use today, those early musical instruments like flutes were just mimicking what they heard in the rainforest, animals like birds, owls, wolfs, parrots etc...
This is by far the largest piece I wrote and I am exhausted.

„Herbstschatten“ (03.11.2024)

Bei einem Spaziergang vielen mir die imposanten Schattenspiele des Herbstlichtes auf.
Die Blätter der Bäume liegen am Boden und erblühen goldfarben im Sonnenlicht der Herbstzeit. Die Schatten der Bäume weisen den Betrachter auf den kommenden Winter hin. 
Die Schatten zeigen auch die längst vergangenen Wege die wir gegangen sind.
Es bleiben nur Erinnerungen. Auch unsere Herbstschatten kommen von Jahr zu Jahr näher.

Diese Stimmung von Melancholie habe ich versucht in einem kleinem Pianostück zum Ausdruck zu bringen.

"Autumn Shadows" (November 3rd, 2024)

While taking a walk, I noticed the impressive shadow play of the autumn light.
The leaves of the trees lie on the ground and bloom gold in the autumn sunlight. The shadows of the trees point the viewer to the coming winter.

The shadows also show the long-gone paths we have taken.
All that remains are memories. Our autumn shadows also come closer from year to year.

I tried to express this mood of melancholy in a short piano piece.
