This is the kind of typical golden sample digged by my brother. First time I heard it, I could already feel the loop that could perfectly fit.
I wanted it to have a nice heavy beat, so I took one of my old floppys from the 90's sampler and chose a drumkit that I used back in the day. 
Added a discrete pad, and a slightly crunchy bass on the bridge. It's one of my favs of Tour de France. Hope you'll enjoy it, Peace.

From the early days of him joining the roster, we have seen him grow and evolve into the type of musician we have envisioned him to become : sublime and progressive. And here with 'Rua', he shows his uncanny ability to capture a certain essence with the right balance of musical elements. He kicks off the track with lush synths and signature basslines before flipping it into a completely different direction : a heavy drum-laden, sampled based slow burner. Indeed, this is just one of the many facets of Samuel Truth, one that has earned him new fans in the form of Majestic Casual, Potholes in the Blog and many others. So, for those who are new to Samuel Truth, you are about to get acquainted with him in a very nice way.
