Searching for Friends - Overworld Theme 2 - Final Fantasy VI

I had to re-invent the epic music from one of my favorite games of the 8-bit era, Wizards and Warriors (and Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2). The music from the games was composed by the magnificent David Wise, famed composer of the Donkey Kong Country music. I have been chipping away at creating this mix for over a month, composing 205 unique parts and instruments. It was all created in Cubase. Hope you enjoy!

Note: This is the extended version that also features a remix of the Subterranean Caverns theme.

This is a remix of songs from the NES classic "Shadowgate." I've been wanting to remix this game for quiet awhile. I've been putting it off because I wasn't sure if I was capable of pulling off what I wanted to do with it. I finally took a stab at it and I'm pretty happy with the result. At ten minutes long this is the longest mix I've ever done. The following Shadowgate tracks are remixed here:

Though the game's composer was never credited, fans often assume the composer was Kouji Nishikawa, so credit for this piece goes to him as well.
