Adapting to new norms and pushing myself to find inspiration and drive during such a strange time. I'm thankful I have the resources to create from the comfort of my own home. It's helped keep me level-headed and active.

Dj Coco EM ( @coco_em) is a professional DJ based in Nairobi Kenya. She plays a wide variety of genres ranging from afro house, kuduro, kwaito, lingala and electronic dance music. Her eclectic sets have earned her performances at large music platforms such as Afro punk festival in Johannesburg where she was the first Kenyan to perform on an Afro Punk stage, Boiler room + True Music Africa Nairobi stage, Glastonbury's Beat hotel festival in Marrakech, The Nyege Nyege festival in Uganda as well as Terra Negra in Tunisia. Coco Em has performed in Niger and Switzerland as well as North American Canada where she played at the Red Bull Music festival Montreal, Nuits d’Afrique festival, Rinse France FM takeover among other shows.
