In an era when the art form of lyricism and poetry is gradually fading into oblivion as  result of corporate controlled marketing, Judge Bush is considered as one of the last of a dying breed of conscious emcees; one of the last of the hip hop mohecans. Judge Bush who used to known as Dip Free, is truly one of the most proficient lyricists and composers of the Hip hop genre. With deeply philosophical lyrics combined with classy and melodious beats, the Most Legendary and enigmatic Judge Bush is highly consistent with his classy flow and verbal delivery that has always held listeners and hip-hop music aficionados spell bound.
Judge Bush rose from street free styling and beat boxing in the mid 90s after falling in love with rap music at a tender age of 10, to being one of the most conscious and vocal emcees and producers from the underground scene, moving crowds at sold out shows and clubs with effortless ability.
After working with and producing classics for a host of Africas finest emcees, Judge Bush and his partner Beeg Pheel co-founded the indie hip hop label Mic-nified Records in 2004, and signed a distribution deal with IODA, based in California and Phonector Music (Germany) for online and on-demand distribution, which was followed by the release of the highly successful compilation Mak-towns Fynest, featuring the best emcees from their home town- Makurdi in the mid-central region of Nigeria. Judge Bush (then known as Dip Free) released the LP The Freeman in the winter of 2006 and was street launched in February 2007. The album went ahead to become an underground and online success with 5 star ratings and thousands of downloads from Itunes.com and 30 other digital retail services to today.  Judge Bush left the scene for a while after dropping the video for his relatively commercial song "your papa" that enjoyed mad rotation on MTV base Africa. He just returned to the studio working on his forthcoming mixtape titled "Poetic Justice" coming soon to the streets.
