Last Light

This piece was originally conceived after listening to one of the Dew Tour's PUSH videos that follow the lives of these skateboarders. I forgot which one it was but there was a piece in it that strongly resonated with me so I decided to go to town on a new song. Surprisingly, the original score found in the video was more light hearted and atmospheric and more synth-pad based which somehow made me take my score to a more darker turn. 

I do have some friends that are looking at the piece to possibly fill in some guitar parts but I couldn't help but share this piece with you guys! With or without the new additions, this is pretty much what I had envisioned from the get-go. 

Using 8dio's libraries up the wazoo on this piece: Rhythmic Aura 1 and 2, 1928 Steinway Legacy, Claire Flute. Also Using my new EWQL Hollywood Strings library with spicc. violins, violas, cellos, and basses while utilizing EWQL Symphonic Gold for the sustain strings like the harmonics. The clicking of clocks were found via youtube and then used the rhythmic mode of FLEX in Logic Pro X to sync them up. And the guitars and drums? All from Logic Pro X's own library. The drums had a LOT of work needed to be done on them to sound the way the do but it was the Brooklyn producer kit I used. Also in addition, I used Heavyocity's EVOLVE Mutation 1 and 2 along with DAMAGE to create the rhythmic bass line.

Ascent

In the quiet tension between illumination and shadow, Ascent contemplates the fragile geometry of human choice. Inspired by the verse, “Nor are the darknesses and the light alike,” this work moves between the unseen and the revealed, where every sound becomes a flicker of consciousness reaching toward clarity. Like one turning toward the light of truth, or a wanderer staring into the absurd, the compositions dwell in the moment between understanding and surrender. Each tone, each echo, is a reflection on how the light we seek is shaped by the darkness we carry.

Howard Shore – The Bridge of Khazad Dum (Vanber remix)

http://www.liveforfilms.com Star Waves is a track from the Oblivion Soundtrack. M83 and Joseph Trapanese put it together for the Joseph Joseph Kosinski directed film.  The score features a hybrid of the traditional M83 electronic sound combined with sweeping orchestral elements. It has 16 score cues, along with a brand new song by M83 featuring Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør used as the end title for the film.

Originally from Cannes, I discovered music through the self-taught practice of classical instruments, especially that of the piano. Composition and sound creation arrived in 2005, by installing software out of simple curiosity.

For three years, I studied at ESRA, a school providing training in film and sound professions. During these studies, I built the Hoenix entity.

My love for music is evolving, a love that knows no boundaries and brings communities together. I am moving towards melancholic melodies, pure sounds that lead to reflection. Nature becomes a source of inspiration and for weeks I regularly isolate myself in the forest to record nature sounds to use them in my music. I wish to spread love, peace, all over the world on a path that no one has taken.

In 2016, I left the south of France to join the city of lights: Paris. My music is popular on social media, with over a million plays for “Introspection“.

In 2019, after spending 3 years in Paris, I decided to return to my native region and isolate myself in nature to continue my music. I am setting up my production studio in a country house. Now is the perfect time to take my first album “Collapse” to the next level. After 6 months of intensive work, the album is as dark as it is luminous, each of the music accompanies us on a therapeutic and emotional journey.

In 2020, I sign on the prestigious Epic Music World label, with the title “Samsara“, a music inspired by Buddhism, where I play for the first time the duduk (Armenian oboe).

In 2021, after being diagnosed with bipolar (mental disorder), I am having difficulty continuing to play music. Eventually, I managed to compose my second album “Serenity” inspired by spirituality. I bring together different peoples on the same project: an album to unify them all.

In 2022, I decide to start my third album “Liberty“, I see it as a diary where I share all my truths. In particular, I explain how I cured bipolar disorder without going through chemical treatments. An album to free myself from the fear of judgment and achieve absolute freedom.

In 2023, I am producing a fourth album “Mastery”. I see this new opus as a quest for power and a reconnection to our full potential. Inspired by apnea under the ice, by fights in the basement, this album takes you towards ultimate mastery.
