Stereochemistry is a one woman music project by Karla – aka Miss Stereochemistry, an ex scientist who left her doctoral studies in Experimental Audiology to approach the listener’s ears from a totally different perspective.  Originally from Belgrade, former Yugoslavia, Karla started making music as a kid, influenced by her father who was also a musician.
During her university years in Italy, Karla founded Stereochemistry, choosing a name that would represent both as a musician and a scientist. After the release of her first demo album, entitled “Love inside” (2005), Stereochemistry moved to Stockholm, Sweden, in order to dedicate herself to both of her passions, starting a PhD in Experimental Audiology at Karolinska Institutet.

But a lab couldn’t contain everything of this gypsy miss. Used to a more adventurous life of a globetrotter around Europe, Karla traded off the lab coat for a cabaret outfit and moved to Barcelona, Spain, where she first performed as a street musician.  And, as the fortune guards the brave&mad, her adventure trip hasn’t stopped ever since! Stereochemistry’s original stage presence has struck many ears and hearts across the globe. Characterized by self-ironic & sincere life stories, weaved into a theatrical performance and trademarked by the original costumes & outfits, Stereochemistry’s music & cabaret show certainly won’t leave anybody indifferent.  In September 2010, Stereochemistry released her first live/studio album called “Vagabond Cabaret”. Recorded in Istanbul, “Vagabond Cabaret” is a collection of Stereochemistry’s travel experiences and curious little life stories. A year-long tour that followed, took Karla and her music across 9 European countries.

Two singles, “Cotton Candy Love” (2010) and “Shut Up and Fuck Me” (2011) were released while on the road. After 344 days spent in a suitcase, Stereochemistry is now based mostly in Berlin, where she has recently published her second album entitled “The Archive Box”.

“The Archive Box” is more then an album, though, it is a part of the homonymous conceptual art concept, where the physical and digital release are distinct, yet interactive and interconnected:
- the physical release is limited to 50+2 hand crafted interactive boxes for archiving all those things that find no other place in our lives. The boxes come supplied with some initial memories and analog interactive games, besides the music;
- the digital release included the partial opening of the box once a month: one song was released and set free for digital download, together with its fairytale and an animation video (available on Stereochemistrymusic.com, Soundcloud, Revebrnation, Myspace, etc..).

No Definite Time is a four piece rock/grunge/pop band formed in Sweden in 2011 and comprising five members: Robin Strandlund (lead vocals), Adam Olsson (guitar/production), Jonathan Olsson (drums) and Alexander Eliasson (Bass).
The band is influenced by music from the 90s such as Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohead etc. but also by current musical groups such as Muse, Porcupine Tree and Incubus.

The name itself comes from their early days when they didn’t have any specific time for rehearsal, it sort of just happened. It could also be a reference to the fact that the group's sound itself is difficult to place in a specific time period.

Maximum Folk. The charm of the B-Side is in the modest and unassuming nature of the contract. Overshadowed by an intently populist and attention-seeking A-Side, the B-Side makes no claims on your expectations nor does it clamour to appease any whims of fashionable taste. The B-side exists simply to entice you with the possibility of serendipitous surprise and fantastical wonderment. The music of The Say Highs is equally capable of catching you off-guard, with catchy tunes that will sneak up on you quite unexpectedly and then lodge themselves most firmly & pleasantly in your head.
 
Since their establishment in Berlin, Germany in 2005 with a nucleus around Guido Kreutzmüller and David McGinty, the band have written and produced numerous B-Side songs in the best tradition of folk music and have performed at innumerable gigs in theatres, clubs and bars and shared the bill with acts like Kula Shaker, The Posies, Blumfeld, The Sea and Cake, Matt Keating, Slow Club, Jack Penate or The Twang.
 
There's no denying The Say Highs' love of casual. The particular appeal of their songs lies within the subtle breaks, the delicate twists and turns and the little details. Clever collages of sound evolve into fully-formed works of art in which playful and experimental counterpoints can be heard at every chord and every bar.
 
Smokey close harmony vocals juxtapose with jingle-jangling guitars, whilst at each turn pretty melodies and fleeting thoughts make themselves known, floating unassumingly on by through these understated B-Sides. All in all, the songs of The Say Highs present a duality not dissimilar to the two sides to a record; here are happy and sad, gritty yet tender, laid-back but impatient, songs for at home but also for the road, songs to dance to and songs to quietly meditate upon.
 
Can folk music find its voice in the big city? Does every biography write its own folk song ? Is quiet still the new loud? And is it still OK to mention love in chansons d'amour? The Say Highs' answer to all the above questions is an emphatic YES. Never more convinced.

2 songs in the 2008 Grammy Awards ballot, shows with Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie & the Banshees e Dita Von Teese, countless tours in USA, UK and Europe, their tracks included in the international TV spots of Hollywood movies such as Minions, Black Panther, The Dark Tower, My Cousin Rachel and Split, collaborations with Sylvia Massy (Tool, J. Cash) and Mike Tacci (Metallica), a single written and recorded with legendary UK film composer Michael Nyman, a track included in the Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 11/9, Belladonna are the self-proclaimed originators of Rock Noir and are one of the most successful self-produced bands in the world.
