Our Friday premiere comes courtesy of Cailín as she debuts on Diffuse Reality. The Subject resident showcases a screw-face styled acid tool from the Waterford native.

Hailing from Waterford, Cailín is known for her dedication to the art of djing and vinyl only style. A name applauded in Berlin and recognised as far as the Americas, the 2x Boiler Room selector has rightfully become one of Ireland most respected DJs.

A long-time resident at District 8 and Subject, Cailín regularly appears alongside huge names such as Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Ben Klock, Paula Temple, Dax J and I Hate Models, to name just a few while also playing sets at Tresor, ADE, Bossa Nova in NYC, as well as being a regular at Life Festival, Boxed Off, Circles and Electric Picnic, reflects Cailín’s pure ability to work the turntables.

As a producer, Cailín’s discography is steadily growing. Her debut 12″, ‘Phantom Love Affair’, 4 tracks of raw, machine fuelled techno, caught the ear of Dave Clarke, who chose her as one of his favourite producers of 2021. Shortly after she contributed to Ben Sim‘s huge Symbolism VA as a handpicked artist alongside Lady Starlight, Insolate and Ritzi Lee. Since then, she has had a steady stream of releases on labels like [R]3volution Records & Diffuse Reality with more on the schedule for 2023.

Cailín’s debut EP on Diffuse Reality ‘Let It Go’ showcases her upfront & two-fisted style of production as she hones in on gritty analogue sounds through six club ready tracks. We premiere ‘Temptress’ a tweaking acid cut that lyes on churning drum rhythms and scowling acid lines, as she dives between harsh four to the flour rhythms & jolting broken beats. A left-field look into analogue acid techno.

Four Four Premiere: Cailín - Temptress [Diffuse Reality]

Introducing to you "U-Topic Guests": a series of mixes from national and international artists, who's art we admired and want to share it to the world.

The fifteenth is for Elektrash, a trio of artists from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Violeta, Almendra and Pistolera seek to develop a style that highlights the mischief and versatility of Techno's most primitive force.

Throughout their career, Elektrash shared projects and went through several of the best underground parties in their country such as 999ciclo, Diffuse Reality and Techno Moon Festival along with national scene references such as: Sol Ortega, Jonas Kopp, E110101, Squaric , Zisko and Forello, among others.

In 2023 they signed their first release “K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)” on the @teqwaverecords V/A compilation, along with more than 10 leading female artists from the Argentine scene.

Jelson was born and raised in Wrexham and is now living in the city of Manchester.  He has been crafting his unique and chaotic sound for the past few years. What makes his tracks unique is his different choices of flavours and samples used and the overdriven touch on top to create a quite psychedelic movement of erratic sounds. He has had some impressive releases behind his back, such as releases on Mama Told Ya, Jahanam, and Take Hit Records. Jelson is heavily inspired by many different genres and tastes, such as psy-rock, dub and reggae, and gritty old-school hip hop. When fusing these influences, he creates these fresh infectious earworms that stimulate an addiction. Jelson often creates unpredictable and psychedelic atmospheres in his music, with hard-pounding drops and melodies.

Küetzal is known as one of the founders of the London-based label Sticky Ground and resident DJ for one of Italy's most prominent techno events, Genau Turin.
Besides his own imprint releases, he published music on Gomboc Records, Taro Record, Askorn Records, and others while self-releasing two independently distributed EPs and singles that generated tens of thousands of streams while gaining the likes and support of institutions in the techno scene such as Perc and prominent artists like I Hate Models.
His production space is beyond unpredictable and features much of his past as a classical pianist and rock guitarist, as well as his studies as a sound designer and music tech developer.
All this is blended - with often different or opposite approaches - with groovy and powerful techno influences.
He hosts a monthly 2hrs radio show on Fnoob Radio where he regularly showcases his djing skills.
