bones is a song about the heartbreak and guilt when letting someone go, but ultimately realising if it was meant to be, it would have been.

This song takes you on the journey of an addict. In the beginning his addiction is like a dream, and he ‘confesses he doesn’t want to leave’ or stop. As the song progresses, like in life, his addiction becomes less fun and more dangerous and he starts to desire to get back to where he was before his addiction became a ‘nightmare’. The final solo is a auditory depiction of the addict trying in his last moments to get back to where he once was, the piercing sounds mimicking that of panic and worry. The song tries to tackle how dangerous and fatal addiction can be.

333 is a song written from the perspective of a teenager who’s trying to navigate through the emotions of growing up, making mistakes, and trying to become the person they envisioned themselves being when they were younger.

Querencia is a song about finding your most authentic self, in a specific place or time within your imagination. Longing for that place to be reality but realising that it can never be.

This is one track from the 2nd Chapter, 'The Lonely Chapter : oblivion', from the upcoming album 'The Journey Chapters'. The emotion of the Chapter is a feeling of the realisation that the great expanse of the world is out there (hence 'oblivion')and your just starting out becoming confident in it, on your own. The specific track expresses someone trying to become independent by who is still a little unsure of themselves.

British indie Pop/Alternative singer, songwriter and producer, born in Athens, Greece who grew up on the island of Kefalonia, Greece and Blackpool, England. I try to write songs which listeners can relate to.  HOL turns 20, returning in 2023 with the powerful Lipstick Muse combining dreamy vocals with rock riffs.

HOL has been making music for over 5 years. From 80’s Rock to Folk and everything in between, HOL crosses the barrier of musical style.  She could easily be categorised as genre fluid. Her sound is unique and artistically distinctive.
 
Lipstick Muse is HOL’s 1st release of 2023, and it doesn’t disappoint with a reminiscence of 80’s shoegaze bands such as Chapterhouse and Lush, it brings together HOLs lyrical talent for telling a story many can relate to. Her idiosyncratic ability to unite opposing forces, empathy and sarcasm, hostility and pleasure unfolds within the narrative. The track takes over the feelings experienced when you’re not able to get someone out of your head even when they’re out of your life. The sad truth of a relationship gone wrong which was actually “never meant to be”!
