British indie Pop/Alternative singer, songwriter and producer, born in Athens, Greece who grew up on the island of Kefalonia, Greece and Blackpool, England. I try to write songs which listeners can relate to.  HOL turns 20, returning in 2023 with the powerful Lipstick Muse combining dreamy vocals with rock riffs.

HOL has been making music for over 5 years. From 80’s Rock to Folk and everything in between, HOL crosses the barrier of musical style.  She could easily be categorised as genre fluid. Her sound is unique and artistically distinctive.
 
Lipstick Muse is HOL’s 1st release of 2023, and it doesn’t disappoint with a reminiscence of 80’s shoegaze bands such as Chapterhouse and Lush, it brings together HOLs lyrical talent for telling a story many can relate to. Her idiosyncratic ability to unite opposing forces, empathy and sarcasm, hostility and pleasure unfolds within the narrative. The track takes over the feelings experienced when you’re not able to get someone out of your head even when they’re out of your life. The sad truth of a relationship gone wrong which was actually “never meant to be”!
