Monopol was formed in March 2006 by Cengiz Bozkurt and Sinan Aslan. Later it took its present form with the participation of Ali Seyhun Saral and Uğur Bektemir. Since then, members of the band have made 3 songs which are respectively "Hayaller İçinde", "Hepsi Bir Rüya" and "Küçük Dünya". After a short brake in music, the band have begun to work again and they are planning to launch an EP asap.
