Refuge is a fundraising platform working in solidarity with grassroots and non-profit organisations. Refuge Worldwide is our new online home for a diverse range of radio shows, launching later this year. The station will operate remotely from Berlin Neukölln, combining international and local artists, as well as offering a platform to young and marginalised communities.

All things inspirational and influential - the records which have shaped their sound as a producer or selection as a DJ.

This week we're excited to share a mix by the multi-talented DJ and producer Raji Rags! Previous A&R for R&S Records and Bleep, former Head of Music for Boiler Room, and a since day-one DJ and host for NTS Radio right up to present day – with or without knowing it, you have probably seen Raj’s diverse curation and music tastes in action.

Raj shares with us a love letter to Chicago, Detroit, the birth of Warp Records, Plastic People, the Bleep label Raj used to A&R for, Boiler Room 2010-2012 era, DMZ, FWD, and jungle music in general.

Hailing from Ballarat and now based in Melbourne, the producer/DJ is a bona fide studio head crafting electronic music soaked in hard-hitting electro elements, classic house motif's and warm, ethereal ambient soundscapes. When he's not DJing or performing live club sets on his extensive hardware collection, he looks after the daily operations of the very much favoured Potatoheadz imprint. It's a label releasing the kind of music that will be considered timeless in the not-too-distant future. Sit back and enjoy the sci-fi world of Fader Cap.

Merry Christmas cheer and a New Years good times one and all from us over that the Holding Hands Podcast!
