Der Wandel der Welt schreitet unaufhaltsam voran. Doch wo führen uns diese Veränderungen hin - zu mehr Wohlbefinden, Gesundheit, Glück? Es gibt technischen und medizinischen Fortschritt, wir sind digital vernetzt und informiert. Gleichzeitig bleiben viele schwerwiegende Probleme ungelöst, welche die positiven Seiten des Wandels stark verblassen lassen. Drängende Umweltprobleme wie Klimawandel und Biodiversitätsverlust spitzen sich zu, die soziale Ungleichheit wächst. Der Lobbyismus und „Spenden“ der Wirtschaft haben einen großen Einfluss auf die Entscheidungen der Politik, während das Wohlergehen der Bevölkerung und Umwelt häufig auf der Strecke bleibt. Politische Parteien, welche ihre Propaganda auf Angst, Hass und Unwahrheiten aufbauen, machen sich dies zunutze. Sie bekommen viel Zuspruch und treiben die Spaltung der Gesellschaft weiter voran. COVID-19 wirkt auf diese Entwicklungen wie ein Brandbeschleuniger und verdeutlicht die Schwachstellen unseres Systems. Nun ist es wichtiger denn je, dass wir uns gemeinsam gegen diese Spaltung stellen und uns entschlossen für ein weltoffenes, solidarisches und ökologisch nachhaltiges Miteinander einsetzen. Dazu brauchen wir das Mitwirken eines jeden Individuums – sich einfach raushalten, schweigen und zusehen kann keine Option sein.

At the same time many severe problems remain unsolved, which will most probably leave the positive changes way behind. Urgent environmental problems like climate change and biodiversity loss are getting worse day by day, as social inequality is growing constantly. The lobbyism and “donations” of the economic sphere have a huge influence on political decisions, whereas the wellbeing of people and nature seems to fall far behind. Political parties that build their propaganda on fear, hate and lies, know how to take advantage of that. They get more and more approval, whilst driving forward the division of society. COVID-19 affects these developments like a fire accelerant. Now it is more important than ever that we stand together against this division and strongly commit ourselves to an open-minded, solidary and ecologically sustainable togetherness of the whole society. Therefore we need the commitment of every individual – just staying out of this, being silent and just watching cannot be an option.

Connor Hutchison aka Hollowglyph discovered a passion for creating electronic music in 2014 and went on to find a love of outdoor psychedelic festivals. Drawing inspiration from psychedelic rock of the 60's and 70's to the futuristic sounds of producers such as Grouch, Ajja, Arjuna and the darker styles of psytrance. Hollowglyph began producing Progressive Trance inspired by the sounds of NNSW but has recently evolved to a 'darker' 'swampy' sound which resonated with Universal Tribe Records, the label he is now signed with.
