Als @hollynorth sich entschied, eine gewisse Portion Dampf hinter seine langjährige klassische musikalische Ausbildung zu geben, hat er damit für begeistertes Aufhorchen auf der Tanzfläche gesorgt. Jetzt liefert der junge Produzenten-Heißsporn und Liveact sein Debütalbum ab. Es hört sich an wie ein lebendiges Klangwesen, das durch immer neue Entwicklungsstadien morpht und sich dabei auf organische Weise immer wieder neu und anders anhört. Deshalb wird es seinem Titel voll und ganz gerecht: Odyssey. Beschreibungen wie Melodic Techno oder Melodic House und ein Nicken in Richtung des harmonischen Wirkungsprinzips von Trance geben uns eine Idee, aber eben doch nur einen unvollständigen Eindruck. Wer das volle Erlebnis möchte, muss sich schon selbst auf diese epische Odyssey begeben!

From their inception last year, the Scottish duo Tiree Automatic is already releasing its third EP, «Dawn Wall », signed on Curiosity Music.

Coalescing around a love of dancefloor euphoria, musical storytelling, and warm frequencies, Tiree Automatic is a bipolar blend of melodious structures and dissonant textures. Influenced by a
myriad of musical styles and genres, these two artists express themselves through a medium of deep, soulful Techno and House, for our listening pleasure!

What you will discover in this new EP are three original tracks that will knock you off your feet!

Powerful and evocative, « Dawn Wall » might be minimal but remains very effective. The retrosounds are always colorful and bright and echo the heady beat as well as the poetic drops,resulting in a very dreamy composition— a genuine inner journey. The second track, « Lazuli », plays with our expectations and frustrations. Lazuli uses the beauty of the piano to make us look to the sky to discover the infinite possibilities above of us, beyond any boundary. In « Sunset Arc », the joyful melodious synth takes us from the very first moments to a 
comforting place, revealing the best of ourselves. The only thing you need to do is to let yourself carried by the drop and enjoy what that track makes you feel. 

To complete this contemplative EP, the Berliner rising talent Holly North produced a very playful and housy remix of the title « Sunset Arc », as well as its radio edit. |

HOLLY NORTH, a Baltic coast native from a musical family, began his journey with the cello at age seven, later adding piano and electric bass. Growing up in a small city in eastern Germany, he developed a strong political and social awareness. After a period in New York, Holly delved into the electronic music scene, gaining recognition with releases like his 2021 single "Youth", which achieved 2 million Spotify streams. Now with Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, Holly merges acoustic and electronic sounds, creating dynamic, nostalgic tracks. A versatile live performer, he incorporates multiple instruments, including his cello and bass, and has toured extensively across Europe, including with Löffler in 2024.
