Jaen Paniagua and 2UP triumphantly return to the highly coveted Steyoyoke imprint with this powerful and episodic two track EP “Plasma”. Its prominent basslines and bold sounds will have even the shyest of us dancing until the sky turns red.

We begin with “Nebula”, a heavy and driving composition with bittersweet chords and alluring legato oscillating melodies that will have listeners fade into extraterrestrial space. Next up, we have “Plasma” a true episodic masterpiece with swelling spacious pads, resolving long bass drones, and delicate weightless melodies communicating in what only can be described as a universal language of hope through sound.

Jaen Paniagua and 2Up’s exquisite taste in weightless melodies and potent bass frequencies creates a collocating tension that give rise to pure euphoric moments in the form of their “Plasma” EP. Tash's Movement Recordings opens the month of May by welcoming Carsten Halm to the label for his debut EP. Based in Cologne, the German artist has been a DJ for well over a decade, playing some of his country's trendiest clubs along with his self organized events. As a producer Carsten has made considerable strides since first appearing in 2016. Solee's Parquet Recordings has been a comfortable home for the Cologne resident, with three releases landing in 2020 that earned play and support from Animal Trainer, Artbat, Eelke Kleijn, Format-B and Solomun. Now following 2021 offerings via Clubsonica Records, Monkey League, Traum and UV, Carsten makes his Movement Recordings debut with 'My Heart', alongside a remix from Jerome Isma-Ae.

Destined to be a highlight in Carsten's discography, it is the poignant stylings of the title selection which get the release underway. Rhythmically charged from the outset, its smooth cadence, striking stabs and buoyant groove set the piece on a course for aural enlightenment. Emotive chord changes and haunting vocal phrases make for a thrilling first act, carrying momentum and mood into the main break. Glowing swells and soulful phrasing delight across the centrepiece, further enhancing the genuine mood, as a timely drum roll and rising sonics unite for a tasteful crescendo and balmy finale.

Making his second appearance on the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'My Heart' is Jerome Isma-Ae. The German artist has been one of the most unique, sought after and best-selling electronic music producers of the last decade. Combining influences of progressive house and techno with distinguished drum patterns, shapely basslines and a keen dancefloor sensibility have led Jerome to projects via Anjunabeats, Songspire and his own JEE Productions imprint. Having made his Movement Recordings debut in 2018 with a well received remix of 'Delta' by Ziger and Blusoul, Jerome now makes a welcome return to the label with a thunderous rendition of 'My Heart'. Adding more of a progressive state of mind, the German artist carves out a dynamic groove adorned with firing percussive, charming vocal fragments and fresh rhythmic themes. Emotive chord changes and poignant pads emerge as the second movement evolves, bringing goosebump worthy moments to its dance floor inspired framework, and ultimately propelling the track to a thrilling finale.

About a year on since their last incursion on the label, acclaimed German duo Township Rebellion resurface on Stil vor Talent with a fresh new three-tracker, right on cue for the busy festival season ahead. Titled "Doppler" after the EP's eponymous lead-track, this new effort also comprises two previously released cuts remastered to further compelling effect, bound to make quite the impact on the dance floor with their all new, fully revitalized sound design. Music to sync your brainwaves and jack your body to, unremittingly. 

As per each occurrence, Township Rebellion show themselves eager to take over the clubs' sound systems with optimum style and firepower, and "Doppler" sure attests to their inimitably floor-efficient approach. The lead single "Doppler" is no stranger to Township Rebellion's signature blends, flush with tribal-infused motifs, peak time cliff-hangers and thunderous outbursts all set against a progressive epic of soaring synths and skull-crushing kick drums. Dwelling the interzone between pure big-room banger territories and unpredictable drifts into wider, open-ended electronic realms, their music eschews classification, forever that nomad sound roaming the confines of DJ functionality and frame-breaking otherworldliness. 

Both presented in sharper-than-ever remastered versions, "Baud" and "About A Tribe" makes for perfect contrapuntal companions to the electrifying, broad scale epic that is "Doppler". An ominous call rallying all souls eager to sail off onto higher raving spheres, "Baud" leaves no stone unturned in its machiavellian plan to merge all dancers in one throbbing mass of energy. Meanwhile, "About A Tribe" showcases the pair's intuitive attraction towards mystique-imbued folk music and polyphonic rhythms, infusing that soulful melodic search into a blazing maelstrom of hi-tech electronic engineering, piano-house addiction and wistful, post-trancey hypnosis that will have you climbing the stairs of euphoria on your hands thru and thru.

HMWL Premiere: Township Rebellion - Baud (Remastered)[Stil Vor Talent]

Sincopat proudly welcomes back home Rafael Cerato with a new powerful and outstanding EP, this time the french maestro is joining forces with Kinky Sound, TouchTalk and Aves Volare. 

The EP also includes a remix by the label Big Kahuna AFFKT to round out the perfect equation.
Propaganda Machine is the masterful beginning of this futuristic & cinematic tale, an intense sonic adventure with powerful basses and a superb vocal by Aves Volare as a hallmark. 
On the remix duties, AFFKT delivers a magnificent remix that perfectly captures the essence of the original but bringing it into his own sonic universe.
We continue with another timeless piece of music called Attack, this one along Kinky Sound. An intense musical journey with clear influences to the 90s electronica but with an eye to the future in its forms.

And last but not least we have 9 0 9 , where Rafael Cerato joins forces with another talented team from Brazil called TouchTalk to deliver another bomb, pulsating percussive synths and effected vocals to close the EP in a magnificent way.
