This was a concept demo track for artists taking part in Nirvana tribute album project in Los Angeles, and doing 'About a Girl' with Von Folta, as 'Sangria's Calling'. 

These concept demos help them get ideas flowing. 

Plus I got paid to help (as a nobody, of course). But only under a different name, of course. Per the norm. 

This is real. Another day as a Hollywood wallflower. Loved every second of it. Glad I'm not the one sweating in the spotlight under pressure, production gap bonds, ...and scorching heat from lights. But man, the performers really love that. 

Since it wasn't used, I got to keep this record since its a cover and not owned by anyone. No money from it. LMK what y'all think?

Spent months of time with her in her trailer during movie shoot. She talked about wanting to go someplace else where she really belongs, as she shot needles in between her toes, drinking champagne to help her feel more emotion, and produce tears on camera. 

Being with her was like waking from a bad dream to realize life was better than the bad dream. She was beautiful to the world. She was an epiphany to me. This was one of her requests. Something uplifting. Not slow and sad. This is how she wanted to feel.

Saw her again at Cross Creek. We caught eyes, she moved along.

Always something new in the hills. Constantly making, and losing, great friends, acquaintances, love, music, life, death, and legends along the way. C'est la vie. Still here. Just thought I'd step back in for a quick huddle.

Living life in the shadows of the greatest artists, troubadors, and legends in Hollywood as "the most famous nobody you're ever going to meet" - (Anonymous actor introducing me at the Playboy Mansion) was an experience I still haven't told my mother about. Would you?

Ah yes. This is the glorious life of the Hollywood wallflower. Always present. But never there...

Oh, and, don't mind the shit quality. These are the things that I own and can put out there. Much has been bought and never used. Ironically, the best stuff I've heard used was the material that I received cease and desist letters to no longer play or attach name to. God I love this town!!!!
