Two years after his double 12” vinyl album release ‘Theory of Revolution’ that gained huge success worldwide, Timewarp inc aka Angelos Timewarp Stoumpos returns with his deeply, heavy and freshly produced single under the title ‘Dubshine’.

What we offer here is a great and catchy dub, reggae, funk and world  influenced track that will put a smile in your face. 

Dubshine is served in two different versions, with the first under the code name Kickit Version. This version adopts a unique four-by-four dance floor drum machine made beat, cooked well with modern fusion. It features layered real dub-drums that are spiced with warm skunk keys and finished with a strong moog baseline, plus that 90’s distorted 303 sequence and rave alike arpeggio. The song is dominated by the sitar’s melody and hooks that gives a world-ethnic touch.

The second version with the code name Beatit Version, rolls over with a b-boy breakbeat     dub style. With longer and extended arrangement, extra spicy and story telling from the Sitar itself, more deep and sub baseline on the low end, while it gives more space and presence to the 303 distorted and 90’s rave alike arpeggio sequence.

To put it simple, Dubshine is here to give you a warm global musical sunshine. This brand new release from Timewarp inc was under construction over the past two years.

The single has been featured on Craig Charles shows on BBC Radio 6 Music and is single of the week on David White's BBC show. Released on 7" vinyl, download and streaming services on Cabin Pressure Recordings on Friday January 28th 2022.
