Also, and most importantly, this is a recreation of a couple of mixes that my best friend and mentor, Craig Howell, made in the late 90s that changed the trajectory of my life forever. We are delighted to welcome back our tall Dutch friend, Dave Mayer with a cracking 3 track EP. Dave doesn't need much introducing, but we'll give you one anyway! 

He has released on some of the worlds leading house music labels like Strictly Rhythm, Salted Music, OM Records and of course, our little class label, Bobbin Head Music. Not only is he one of the nicest blokes we know, he is incredibly talented. This 3 track release showcases his many artistic layers from Soulful summery infused house, to chopped up Nu Disco future grooves, through to classic deep rolling house. 

We were happy to sign 1 of these tracks, let alone all 3. This EP is one for all tastes. Get involved!

Swing Republic dj set 2013 [Electro Swing]

Dave Mayer and I last worked together back in 2012 when I asked him to mix our Get Large Amsterdam compilation. We have kept in touch throughout the years and I have admired his consistent production work and successful DJ career. Late last year he sent over a demo pack that fit perfectly with the direction I planned to take Large in 2020 and I signed it immediately. I love the vintage feel to both of these tracks and there is just enough modern textures and sounds to provide a freshness and energy. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
