Hello friends! Here is the recording of my very first set at Stereo Montréal

A place that truly feels like (((home))) 

A room that means so much to many of us and that sparks wonders for those who haven't been yet. A space where we can be free, all together. A spaceship that uses vibrations to bend space and time. A temple where music becomes alive.

It was an honour to have the chance to play in this room for 11 hours to the most amazing group of humans. It's been a dream of mine for so many years to have the chance to play there and it's one of most meaningful moments I ever lived. Stars were aligned, the collective energy was truly beautiful and I am happy to be able to share with you the soundtrack of that night. 

Thanks to all the @stereonightclub team for the incredible work to co-create such a sacred space for music. 

A special thanks to Luc for the cosmic visuals during the night.

And thanks to all of you family and friends who joined the journey.

For some time now the combined forces of Mark Caramelli & Paul Hargreaves have been causing quite a stir under their guise, Death on the Balcony. The duos style fuses a range of influences from Disco through to House & Deep Techno depending on the time, space and environment. Years of dedicated musical passion and an appreciation of numerous genres have lead to their sound receiving popularity across the board...

Death on the Balcony’s release schedule is continually active with them releasing & remixing internationally with the likes of All Day I Dream, Kindisch, Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit, Akbal Music & many more.

Whether it’s disco inflected fuel or emotive house & techno rhythms, these eclectically deft producers will juxtapose anything they lay their hands upon, mixing the beat of the drum with the melodic buzz of a hazy brain!

As one of the UK’s more versatile acts Death on the Balcony will be delivering more productions, remixes and playing gigs worldwide as part of the All Day I Dream family and beyond. 

As their range of musicality continues to evolve they consistently deliver a unique, well-timed narrative of the best sounds around. So did they with their exclusive mix for Schirmchendrink. And Mark and Paul even did overtime and delivered a sensational 3 hour journey – Christmas definitely came early this year!

Comforting Cuppa Tea | Death on the Balcony

This is a mix I made after far too long away from the decks.  

I now have a career that’s drawing me in, a little further away from the music that makes my heart sing.

But this is something that helped me feel connected to the music once again.   I played this only in my headphones, in the rain, under the canopy of a house my mom’s husband purchased and intended to live in for decades before he died suddenly. 

COVID has brought untold pain and loss to the world, and it’s up to us to try to (safely) bring it back to life!
