tones coalesce into a wash of colour exchanges, that shift, swell and absorb into one another, creating a wave that is ever-changing. When listening I hope for the listener to hear these small waves and exchanges coming together to create a larger meaning.

Voyager

Same place as Chorus & Chorus 30/6/2020  but with a difference in the ambience of the port and shipyard behind.  From the Cormorant colony of Järviluoto Islet in town Rauma, West Coast of Finland.

Mostly young Cormorants begging, but also other birds like Crowns and a White tailed eagle. The calls of the Eagle are at 8.20 18.35 and 22.12.

Ploughing aural fields in remote North.

Field recordist, bird watcher and a digitized former darkroom rat living in little Makholma village on the West Coast of Finland by the Baltic Sea - 61N 21E

These recordings are done in AB stereo with omnidirectional microphones. With this technique everything in the field will be equally meaningful, even the silence behind the microphones. That's why you should use headphones!
