Tania Daniel, also known as Tati au Miel, is an artist born and raised in Montreal. They have been dedicated to their work as a freelance artist since 2017. Their artistic practice incorporates various mediums to produce evocative experimental sound pieces, sculptural and textile explorations, and ritualistic performances delving into contemplations on freedom, spirituality, storytelling, surrealism, and beyond.

As we have always dealt with sound as a political category, our activism is based on listening and focuses on the revolutionary potential that is inherent in the sonic. Under the banner of Sonic Agency we want to enforce a sonic activism of opposition and resistance. The artists involved are advocating for social and political transformation. Their sounds lend themselves to global emancipatory struggles, and fights for freedom and equality. The featured sounds aren’t complicit in the silence that surrounds us. They are furious, desperate, crying, paralysed, compassionate and rebellious like us. There is a message in sound that cannot be negated.

Listening is not neutral.
Listening shapes the reality we live in.
Listening is shaped by ethics and politics and leads back to it.
Listening is directly linked to memory and identity.
Listening is as important as speaking.
Listing is an active act.

Due to a recent law in Hungary, made to limit the right of assembly, amongst other minorities, the LGBTQ community and Budapest Pride face uncertain times.
The only answer to this, is to unite and let our voices heard.
We need to safeguard queer spaces.

Electronic music has always been a safe space for the queer community, so Marmint is launching a compilation in solidarity with Budapest Pride on the 28th of June, 2025.
The digital release is going to be accessible on Soundcloud, Nina Protocol, Bandcamp and other streaming services.

All proceeds go to Budapest Pride (Szivárvány Misszió Alapítvány)

Following the more industrial and drum-oriented “Force Quit” (released by temporary nites) –, he returned to EXILES with “Hatch + Foster”, a 20-minute cassette exploring the fields of bass-heavy, dynamic ambient with an industrial touch.
yibai performed elements of the material at House of Music Hungary as the local support before Ryoji Ikeda’s concert, as well as the opening act before Ben Frost at the abandoned turbine hall of the Inota power plant.
He has recently played in Salo/Fuchs2 in Prague, leading up to his latest full-length album which is set to be released in the summer of 2025.
