Home Again Label is excited to present its latest digital release, "Home Again Data 04," featuring label founder Thabo. After a substantial hiatus with releases on the label, Thabo is back with a rejuvenated sound, ready to comeback on this digital series.

The EP starts with "Calamari," a deep house track reminiscent of the early 2000s. This inviting tune showcases an uplifting chord progression that envelops the audience in a warmly immersive sonic experience, a hallmark of Thabo's soulful yet irresistibly infectious style.

Kawaii San lends a dreamy reinterpretation to "Calamari," infusing it with the bounce of early 90s tech-house. This remix reinterprets the original track to other horizons, guiding the dance floor on a mesmerizing journey through ethereal and dreamlike soundscapes.

"Chipirones," the third track in the lineup, offers a deep and melancholic auditory adventure, making it the perfect choice for setting the mood during warm-up sets. Thabo's ability to evoke emotions through his music is on full display in this profound track.

Mat.Joe began as a project between Matthias and Johannes, two young men based in Berlin with a deep connection to music. Back in 2006, Rap, Breakdance and Skateboarding were the passions that kickstarted their friendship and this deep connection is reflected in their music. In 2008, they formed the producer team Twomanics and concentrated on authentic and credible hip hop productions for independent artists.
As of 2024, Matthias takes on his music career as an individual, carrying the legacy that Mat.Joe has built over the last decade. Over the years, Mat.Joe has developed their trademark sound of house beats paired with rhythmic soul and hip-hop elements. The result is deep and dancefloor-qualified, warm and rough. Inspiration is found everywhere between subway rides, late night showers and favorite bars - and new ideas are always on the way, evolving with the always-changing culture of dance music and growing with the artist.
