Okay, this is a complicated one...
Back in 2006, Plushgrizzly from Aykaism.ch (now defunct) invited Jon H from Fort Knox Five to play a gig in Switzerland. He recorded the whole evening for a later broadcast on our common radiostation bigbeat.ch (now defunct). I'm not sure, we did ever play it, though... Not even sure if it was ever published in any way.
15 years later, I found this gem on my harddrive and played it during two episodes of my radioshow Eclectix, airing every Sunday, 6pm (cet), on evosonic.de.
First, I didn't want to upload it since I didn't know if it's okay with his friends and family over in DC, but after being asked by FK5 to upload it somewhere public, so they can share it with the world, I guess it is okay... ;)

For those not in the know: Jon H was 1/4 of Fort Knox Five, who died 6 years ago way to early in August 2015. He was an inspiration for way more people all around the world, than he could ever think of and I'm one of them. Thank you, Jon, for everything.

There's over 60 tracks in this mix, all mixed in key, all over the place but all still work well. Cutting, copying, pasting and making edits on the fly with just the elements of each track you hear.

Whether you were double dropping or sinking a bucket, finding an after party was a crucial part of my   night out, and bringing the right music was part of the plan… DJ Shadow Entroducing, David Holmes essential section, The Chemicals Brothers Live at the Social, 2many DJs and of course The Dirt chamber session were always on the hit list 
These albums have molded the way I DJ and more importunely listen to music, Ive always admired the skills of theses DJs who provide an alternative view on music. 
I didn’t what this compilation to be another mix tape but it ended up that way, well, bit of mixing and bit of blending 
My choice cuts reflect the old and new, tracks I’ve always loved to play out at parties and listen to after hours and ones Id wish would just keep playing.. on and on  forever,  I have a romantic love of this music and still would be very happy to sit, chilling out to this mix

Saturday 25th of May I stood in a sunny field at The Church of Love were I played my last ever set at the amazing Shindig Festival.

This was recorded in one take before the weekend as practice so you guys could hear it how I played it. No post production, just one take. I tried to apply the mix of genres I love and am known for into one set. hip hop, mid tempo breaks, R&B, house, jackin house and breaks.

Thanks to the Shindig team for having me over the years and Father Funk for letting me play on his stage at the last one.
