My submission for the chance to open for kLL sMTH at Cervantes on 10/21 ! It has been a personal goal of mine to share the stage with this man, pretty much since the inception of this project! Not to mention Bricksquash and Zen Selekta will be in the building... So here it is! This mix is a hybrid DJ set, utilizing songs from the scene that always make the vibe, my own original tunes, alongside some flips, mash ups, and live edits of all sorts. 

   I made this mix with dancing/party vibes in mind, beat never stopping unless needed for a breathe, to get everybody ready for the absolute shindig this man would surely be curating later in the night! It would be a hometown-throwdown for us both, and I would absolutely kLL for this chance!

Very Yes is a project that’s been marinating for quite some time and I always knew would one day happen but never knew exactly when. Having been a musician my whole life, I have gone through so many phases of musical obsession but never let them all meld into one anamorphic blob. Now I have and I want to put a heavy emphasis on reviving stylings from 90s hip hop/RnB along with previous experiences and fold them into current production techniques and sounds.

i rarely speak about my releases, but i have to say something about this "cover"..
im very happy this cover got cleared by The Knife (!). 
big salute to my team Transparent Agency Red Smoke Publishing CTM they really fought for this track. they were sending mails back and forth with managements/labels for 6 months, every damn week.. 
the original track means alot to me, so for releasing this as a original with a clearance from The Knife feels like a wierd good dream..
