Following on from Fresh Take's recent VA is previous collaborator Bernardo Mota. His standout track on their first release Only the D found its way into the bag of none other than house heavyweight Jamie Jones. Given this and Bernardo’s talent, they thought it was time to let him express himself on his very own EP. 
The title track features a steady groove and spoken word sample which is a stalwart in Mota's productions. Next up is Break down, driven by a wonky acid bassline over a catchy vocal hook and his signature 90s keys. The Always the Same EP drops on Fresh Take May 22nd.

You may not have heard so much from André (aka &ME) so far. Instead of the flash and glitter associated with most of his producer colleagues, he’s preferred to stay in the shadows, co-producing and ghost writing for artists like DJ Hell and Terranova.

Now after putting out his first solo single on Keinemusik, which was supported by all the key players (Front Room label boss Jesse Rose, Luke Solomon, Gabriel Ananda, Danny Tenaglia and Dubfire plus many more) &ME is finally ready to ‘go public’ as they say. He may have taken some time to figure out his own style of blending Techno and House music but now he’s out there’s really no escape. With a name like an attention deficit child’s mantra it’s a wonder he stayed ‘in’ so long.

The “On” EP is an excursion into the type of techno dusted pulsating minimal house that has been so big for artists like Johnny D and Arnaud le Texier and which is heard on heavy rotation in Berlin meccas like Bar25. With A Side ‘On’ ever present digital squelches (reminiscent of a Rolf Harrris style wobble board) are laid over shakers, stripped-back beat and the familiar ‘on’ vocal. It’s not hard to understand why Tiefschwarz have been rinsing it for quite some time now as a huge afterhours groover.

B Side ‘Talking Days’, swimming in lush deep techno elements, weaves through more melodic territory but is no less infectious.
