While the grey winter reigns in Berlin, we take a trip back in time to the summer of 2023, where our friend Amperia blessed our party in the garden of ://about blank. The DJ, who holds residencies with the illustrious crews Golosa and poly|motion, presented a great selection ranging from Italo disco and new beat gems to post-punk, electro and industrial. Enjoy a 3 hour long journey and let the warmth in. The sun will come back, we will dance and be united.

1986

Puglia-born and Berlin-based Luigi Di Venere is one of the most
exciting presences in electronic music. Now a much-loved DJ,
producer, and promoter, he first came to attention at Cocktail
d’Amore, where he is a resident. Di Venere’s talent was quickly
spotted by other promoters, and over the past years he has
become a regular feature of Panorama Bar and at the infamous
fetish club lab.oratory.

His musical style is rooted in Italo house and cosmic Italo disco,
techno, New Beat, trance, and he is especially known for his
luxurious Balearic waves, trippy cosmic soundscapes and
explosive combinations. Di Venere also runs his own club
nights including Maximum Joy in Berlin and Power Dance Club
in Athens and Berlin. In the past, Di Venere has hosted his own
radio show MachineSex on Radio Cómeme, and his ambient
compositions have featured in numerous fashion and art
projects.

These days, Di Venere can be found managing the Phonica
Records satellite in Berlin’s The Stores X, and expanding his
new label with Neu Verboten, Philoxenia Records. Di Venere
enjoys a number of exciting musical collaborations, including
Banana Moon (with Massimiliano Pagliara), SolidAir (with Jules
Etienne), Affekt Unit (with Neu Verboten). Check out his latest

Here is our recording of our three hour vinylset at Zentralwaescherei Zuerich right after christmas. 
We felt a warm resonance from the crowd and really enjoyed the whole ride. 

It's probably one of our favorite sets by date as it reflects records that have been in our collection for quite a long time and didn’t got played yet including some that just have a very high personal value for us.

@Zentralwaescherei is a sick venue really providing a safespace for all human kind.
Such an environment needs to be supported and is of high value, we are glad that there are so many enthusiastic and kind people behind it!
We wish you all a happy new year and our minds are with all the people who aren't save right now.

The emissions that give life to this platform can affect a lot of things in many realms, material and immaterial alike. Their energy can excite bodies, elicit feelings, enliven places and even encourage ideas, transforming the world within and without us in the process. @sedefadasi's style is impossible to pin down. Embarking on her sonic journey, she fearlessly navigates her craft through a multifaceted universe of rhythms and genres, captivating dance floors with her everlasting groove and electrifying embrace. The best place to experience this rollercoaster is her own monthly HAMAM party at City club in Augsburg where she has invited plenty of international guests to join her. The Turkey-born, Germany-based artist is also a resident at Blitz Music Club and is set to join us at Dekmantel Selectors later in the summer, but first comes this week's podcast. 

It launches in seductive fashion with the moonlit deep house of Chicagoan Ben 'Cosmo' D then cruises through smooth but punchy grooves that stay low and bring hints of old-school cool in the basslines, stabs and drum breaks. Adasi's shift through the gears is almost imperceptible here as the pace quickens and the drums grow more physical. That is a testament to not only her smart selections but also to her ability to thread together these sounds quite so seamlessly.

I haven’t posted a recording of my djing for quite some time now, I feel this is a moment I can and want to share.

This 5 hour closing set has been something special for me.

Walking into de school not knowing what was about to happen, only thinking that I would see this as my musical homage to being a resident to this amazing place, a space where I was going to play one of my most memorable sets to this day. What started as 3 hours planned of a closing ended up in 5 hours of pure bliss. 
The responses on that moment have changed a lot for me. It made me rethink why I dj, why I make music and why I love doing this thing I do so much. 

These 5 hours are filled with: unknown hits to big dance bangers, music for happiness, loneliness, loving, hating, remembering, forgetting, friendship and everything in between.
