Back in the early 90s , there was a dj saying ,, its not about what records u bought with you.. its what u do with them , when u play ,,, and they expected a good set , with plenty of mixing ,, which can only be dun with the X FADER,, AND IF U DIDNT CUT THE MUSTERD ,, U WERE ASKED INPOLITLY TO GET OFF , and never asked to play again ,, most djs  today dont even no what the X FADER  is even for , and they never do any  real mixing with it ? hence all the button twiddling , and drone flying , and plenty of self ego,,,but never do they touch the X FADER, After each rave event we used to  replace the xfader ,becaues they were worn out , just alittle insite on how being a dj back in the 90s was,,real djing

British-American Electronic musician in the Pacific NW--influenced by all varieties of electronic and electronic-adjacent music from 1960s/70s - 2020s, not to mention a bit of Prog and Metal, and Jazz Fusion. 

My focus tends to be on Trance, Ambient, Synthwave, EDM, Synthpop, EBM, Industrial, Darkwave, Futurepop, and the occasional hint of Jazz Fusion. (Sometimes all in the same track).

That's what happens when you're hooked by the Doctor Who Theme at a young age. ;)
