MUSIC FOR THE PROCESS OF DYING is a work of non-verbal poetry.
The evocative function of words is replaced by a soundscape in which human utterances, electronic textures, birds/insects/weather, heavily processed instruments and field recordings are woven into five tracks aimed at the subconscious.

HOMO is, since 1995, the vehicle for the solo work of Filipe Silva, also a member of Porto-based SOOPA Collective & the Skull Dub ensemble HHY & The Macumbas, among other musical, intermedia & teaching projects.
HOMO explores the potential of sound in its physical & physiological manifestations, namely as a tool for reconfiguring the perception of space-time; the evocative, invocative, mnemonic & devotional power of music; & the frail & uncertain balance between song structures and the innefable, transhuman architecture of Reality, the great Fourth Wall demolisher.
