He grew up in Marseille by the Mediteranean sea (South of France) His Mom raised him with funk, disco and soul. He discovered the art of Dj’ing with vinyls at the age of 16 years old, influenced by the likes of Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Amine Edge and David Guetta. After few years learning production he became a Hit-Maker. His house music is inspired by ibiza (Spain) and the Latin culture that he soaked up during his time living on the Island.

Jonathan Tolentino better known as Dj Boogy, has been influenced artistically with a vast majority of musical genres. Being of Dominican descendance, music like Merengue Tipico, Bachata and Salsa was at full force in his family household. This strong connection to his roots can still be heard in his mixing qualities as an adult.

For the love of music, DJ Boogy progressed as a young adult with one vision in mind and that was to entertain the public demonstrating the love of music that was instilled in him at a young age. He met various people from the music industry that have shown to be strong influences in his life and that have helped him throughout his career.

With his new found confidence, he has been able to work at various clubs events in Florida, New York, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Chicago. Dj Boogy also opened up concerts for Alex Sensation, Rauw Alejandro, Anuel, Daddy Yankee, Raulin Rodriguez, El Chaval y mucho mas.
