Nikolas Agrafiotis, a Greek composer born in 1998, is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Composition at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig under the guidance of Professor Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf. He previously earned his Master’s degree in Composition at the same institution, studying with Professors Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf and Fabien Lévy. He completed his Bachelor of Composition at the Conservatorium Maastricht, where he studied with Professor Vykintas Baltakas.

His compositions have been performed across Europe by several notable orchestras and ensembles, including MDR Sinfonieorchester, Ensemble Recherche, Ascolta Ensemble, Avanti! Chamber Orchestra, Contemporary Insights, Osimun Quartet, and the Philharmonie Zuidnederland Septet, among others.

He has also been selected to participate in esteemed programs and masterclasses, including the Peter Eötvös Foundation’s Spotlight on Ramon Lazkano (2023), Impuls Academy (2025), the Delian Academy for Contemporary Music (2024), the Sävellyspaja Composition Masterclass (2024), Casa della Musica San Michele (2025), She Lives Budapest Masterclass 7th edition (2025), and the ContemPlay Workshop in Vilnius (2023).
Through these opportunities, he has worked with renowned tutors such as Peter Eötvös, Mark Andre, Franck Bedrossian, Johannes Kalitzke, Ramon Lazkano, and Jukka Tiensuu, among others. In 2022, his work Two Movements for Ensemble received a Special Mention at the Winds Composition Contest Saxony.

August Christian Hübner was born on November 24, 2005 in Halle (Saale) and has been studying composition with Fabien Lévy at the HMT Leipzig since the winter semester of 2024. He received his first violin lessons in Lübeck at the age of four and his first bassoon lessons three years later - he still pursues both instruments today, especially the violin very intensively. He studied violin and composition for three semesters as an early student at the HMT Rostock. There, as well as in Lübeck, he directed and conducted a chamber ensemble and choir. 
Among other awards, Hübner won the sponsorship and national prize at the national competition Jugend Komponiert (2023 and 2024), the prize of the German Orchestra Foundation in Halberstadt, as well as participation in a workshop at the Arnold Schönberg House in Vienna. His works have already been performed in Lithuania and Austria. He successfully graduated from the Johanneum zu Lübeck in 2024, where he regularly performed symphonic works, including performances with the Johanneum Symphony Orchestra in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz and at KiNG in Ingelheim.
