Only the second release here from Scruscru sub-label Scruniversal. At the controls is Latvia's Will Sonic, whose work has previously appeared on the likes of Late Night Jackin', Sundries, Gents & Dandy's and Moodyhouse, and who now serves up two more prime slices of deep house goodness for your dancing pleasure. 'Fugazi' is a late-night kinda cut with a pleasing garage-y bump that makes it the pick for this reviewer, but the accompanying 'Right Vibe' is no slouch either, with a hypnotic warping vocal and the kind of delicate keys that mean it wouldn't sound out of place on Madhouse

Nu School Balearic producer @myfrienddarioproducer is back with a delectable Sunsoaked four track EP 'Food for Woofers Vol 1' which lands this Friday via @hell-yeah Recordings.

Apparently working towards a debut album My Friend Dario is a producer who always managed to give the Balearic sound a modern twist and this EP is no different  as Nu Balearic Breaks nestle next to tropical chords and mid tempo house.

Our premier today Easy Sunday combines powerful laser synths with a throbbing bassline and twinkling leads. It's a fascinating and powerful track which will please clubbers and sun worshippers alike.

Izo FitzRoy has found an incredible vein of form with her third album “A Good Woman”.  Album of the week on Jazz FM in the UK and playlisted on FIP and Radio Nova in France, supported by both BBC 6 Music and Radio 2 at home it has connected strongly with fans old and new.

Art of Tones is very much an old friend as Izo had previously recorded with him at his studio in France so when he got to take his pick of album tracks to remix ,he knew straight away which would suit him.

On Small Mercies he gives us a vocal version which could have been a slower number from Barnard and Niles Chic era and has every sign of being a beach club staple this summer. Alongside that his hump dub, ups the tempo and the Quincey’s preferring to concentrate on the killer gospel backing vocals’ than Izo’s lead.

For this second volume on our main digital edit series, label boss Roman serves up another package of three dancefloor-melting re-morphed cuts, the entitled Land Of Plenty is a frenetic discofied banger layered over with a new heavy bassline, drums, hi-hats and more complimentary samples to turn the mellow and cheese original obscure source into a proper party anthem for late night hours. The remaining two tracks on the EP are Priest Of A Strange Religion, which is a funkier discofied dancefloor belter with chunky drums and moody vocals that follows the same killer recipe of the previous tune and The Camp, a smooth and seductive classic disco-fueled nugget with outstanding female vocals, tight drums and rolling disco trumpets chopped and re-worked with care and respect to guarantee an epic disco ride.
