A bit about Rival;

“My name’s Matt and I’m based out of Maidstone, Kent. I’ve been producing for about a year and a half now mainly making minimal jump-up style tunes, but have decided to go down a more liquid style for my first free download release to capture a summer vibe. I’d say my biggest musical influences would be Disrupta, GLM, Ben Snow, and Magenta, with both my production and DJing styles being heavily influenced by these artists. My style is something that I have spent a lot of time refining the last couple years to put myself apart from other artists, and am looking forward to showing this off more and more in the future. In the next couple of years I see myself consistently getting booked for events and my production starting to take off, targeting some of the bigger labels that I am influenced by. My favourite festival I’ve been to would be Hosp in the Woods 2021, however I will be attending Boomtown for the first time this year which I am hugely excited for.”
