Multi genre DJ and musical explorer, known for playing sets designed to take you on a flowing journey. A lover of a chunky rolling groove, big baselines, amens, 303's and a punk attitude.

Mike Kay has opened the night for some of the biggest names in electronic music—Purple Disco Machine, Adam Port, Worakls, Boris Brejcha, Adam Beyer, Sam Paganini, Monika Kruse, and more. Known for setting the perfect tone, he’s a trusted warm-up act booked for his precision, taste, and ability to build real tension on the floor.

Born in Basel with Swiss and Vietnamese roots, Mike has been behind the decks since 2009. His sound flows freely through house, deep house, breaks, and techno—guided by vibe, not genre.

He was a five-year resident at the iconic Borderline Club (2012–2016), crowned Street Parade Talent of the Year in 2015, and has played sold-out shows like the Volkshaus Basel, the Street Parade main stage and Love Mobile, plus gigs in Berlin, France, Germany, and Spain.

Off stage, he’s shaped the scene as a booker for clubs and agencies, co-organizer of cultural events, and mentor for upcoming DJs. A multiple DJ contest winner and featured artist for Pioneer DJ Switzerland, he’s performed at national showcases like the Soundmesse.

His own productions reflect a wide palette—from melodic breaks to deep house remixes—appearing on Berlin’s WonneMusik and Hamburg’s AudioSafari.
