Tritonal release the massive second chapter in their spellbinding 3 part Metamorphic EP series. After the first part of the trilogy dropped back in May, Chad and Dave have been marauding around North America unleashing their electrifying live sets to swathes of frenzied Tritonians and NOW they can unleash 'Metamorphic II', the full EP.

In this release the Texas based production/DJ duo have really captured the essence of when they're up on stage and behind the decks, injecting that unwavering energy into their studio sessions to awesome effect. Multi-talented as they are, the guys display their versatility and musicality throughout the whole series and one facet of Tritonal is the ability to throw one hell of a party whenever required. 'Metamorphic II' represents an - if not the - integral part to the force that drives them forward, which is to above all make sure that everyone that listens to their music has the best time possible.

'Follow Me Home' featuring Underdown takes the lead and sets the EP off to a flyer with crunching electro and signature Tritonal breakdowns, followed up by the rapturous 'Now Or Never' featuring the gorgeous Phoebe Ryan. This second track of the package teams a yearning vocal full of emotion with an orchestra of synths that play to the most captivating of melodies. Rounding off the full 3-track EP is the massive 'Electric Glow' featuring the wonderful voice of Skyler Stonestreet, and it's an absolute electro house gem of the highest quality that fans have come to expect and admire.

The Temper Trap - Love Lost (Keljet Remix)

A pulsating solo effort from electronic pop crooning man-child and Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning is the shiniest, newest addition to the Cutters stable of artists.

Prior to starting on Cut Copy's most recent album Zonoscope, Ben Browning dug into his trusty mind-hole and began penning tracks for a solo release, culminating in the new 12-inch EP which is to be released by Cutters Records. I Can't Stay is the lead single, taken from Browning's forthcoming EP on Cutters records.

It opens with an almost calypso guitar lead, before opening up into bouncing bass driven club-pop, the likes of which wouldn't have been entirely out of place on the recent Cut Copy album. The vocal is trademark Ben Browning: delicately strained melodic and harmonic stylings, with a seeming fragility which belies its true versatility.

The talents of Architecture In Helsinki's Gus Franklin and Haima Marriott were enlisted to add production and shimmer, with Franklin even laying down live-drums on the final recording. Meanwhile, Cut Copy's own Dan Whitford reached into his collection of vintage synths to provide keyboard programming, producing some of the the classic keyboard tones herein.

What's that you say? You wanna dance? Never fear, the single is rounded out by two energetic remixes of the lead track I Can't Stay. Cutters' own Knightlife, who has made spacey disco bliss his stock in trade, has transformed this into and epic, infectious melodic house gem. And DFA's Juan Maclean opts for an energized version, more faithful to the original, much like classic expertly finessed dance mixes of old.

Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.'  So here is how we did it:
