This is a song about what it means to be a real fighter. It’s a story told from the perspective of an Irish fighter, but it’s really an existential meditation on what it means to be a fighter to who hangs in there until the end.

This is a song made from a lyric poem about the fact that we are all fated to have to spend time in the dessert and be tempted by cynical thoughts.  The point of the song is that inspiration must and will triumph.
