Luciano has arranged a special series of four releases as part of the celebrations for the fifteen years anniversary of his own Cadenza Records, launching the first one to begin the festivities. Each episode is coming out in a different season of the year; the first one, with the catalogue number 118, is the chapter dedicated to the summertime and contains 5 enchanting tracks with an exquisite sound. This series is just one of the astonishing surprises that Luciano has set aside for the birthday of his beloved label.
The show begins with “The Amazing Lilou”, a crispy ariose tune with elaborated percussions and calypso-flavored synthesizers. “Hiding Hearts” is a latin prelude with pleasant guitars and restful melodies, flowing with joy and peace. “Nabusima” is another Caraibic spell, with noteworthy carefully mixed drums and elevating harmonies. “Magik Mechanics” explores complex broken beats and electronic textures, drawing a colored narration in between a fairy tale and a sci-fi movie. Finally, “Tirana del Oriente”, as disclosed by the title, is a trip into the Oriental ardent magic. A collection of five long summery compositions to accompany our hot pleasing days from the dawn till the dusk, holding our hands during a never ending daydream.

It's been one year and a month since Fabio Giannelli and Alessandro Gasperini alias Glowal made their debut on BOg's Atlant label. Now the Italian power-duo returns with a remix for the label head honcho and his collaboration partner GHEIST's track 'Venere' to the label that basically had given birth to what was to follow the month after. 2019 had only been a  few weeks in and the scene already made a decision: 'Cries', released on Innervisions' Secret Weapons Part 11, would become one of the most anticipated tracks of the year. Unfortunately the decision had been made before Fabio and Alessandro released their three tracker 'Revolver' on Berlin label Exit Strategy. With each track receiving support from multiple artists it was difficult to select a common favorite as all of them got under one's skin. 'Revolver' was followed by Glowal's EP 'Roda', for which the duo teamed up with vocalist Chris Batten, on Agoria's label Sapiens, again drawing a lot of attention to their music. The latter can not be ruled out for Fabio and Alessandro's latest contribution to Atlant since their take on BOg & GHEIST's take 'Venere' again receives massive support from all over the scene and has been a Digweed favorite for a while. Glowal's remix treatment aims at floors and represents their skillful dealing with vocals and incorporating them into an instrumental – in Fabio and Alessandro's words this means that soundscapes merely take on a subordinate role instead of clashing both, the vocals and the instrumental, while being played simultaniously. So Glowal's remix approach does just that, whenever the vocals take the lead, the sound elements favor them while for the rest they put on their mark.

BOg & GHEISTt's EP 'Venere' will be released on Atlant on July 8th, 2019.

After the overwhelming popularity of Pracht's first release from Gorge, which reached number one in the Beatport Deep House top 100, another high performing Germany artist makes his debut - Oliver Schories with the 'Rampart EP'.

Hamburg-based Oliver has been a welcome addition to the German house community for a number of years now. Regularly playing at festivals and clubs across the world, his deep and introspective sound has won him an army of fans. Tracks on 8bit, Parquet Recordings as well as his own SOSO imprint have cemented his place in the industry as a creative, thoughtful producer and wildly original DJ.

Opening with the super funky 'Rampart' we are quickly whisked away to Oliver's world. Bumpy sine bass gets things pumping before the melodics take control, while skippy percussive layers drive it forward to the ethereal break. Taking a deeper, striped back approach, Ray Okpara keeps it minimal throughout before opening up into glorious technicolour.

'Kato', Oliver's second original sees him in deeper melodic waters. Focusing this time on spacey disco pads and leads, this is perfect for early mornings just as the sun comes up. Powerful and understated, it'll be your favourite secret weapon all summer long! Anjunadeep regular Tim Engelhardt adds his wizardry to the remix here. Drawing out the main motifs, he expertly constructs a detailed re-imagination in epic proportions.

Welcoming Imran Khan to the Proton Music roster, his "Organik" debut is set to make a sizeable splash with remixes from UK and Irish legends. 
"Organik" is thus a beautiful piece that is the perfect antidote to life's stresses on a warm summer's evening. An artist who has been a central pillar in dance music's underground house, Barry Jamieson is an iconic and legendary name with over two decades high-profile experience. Having worked with Sasha on his ground-breaking "Involver" and Involv2er", Jamieson's solo career has found a similarly elevated level of success. With his music wedded to the acclaimed microCastle, Quivver's Boz Boz and his own Circular Sounds Recordings, Jamieson's Mono Electric Orchestra pseudonym has seen him feature on John Digweed's Bedrock and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings with stunning results. Remixing Kastis Torrau and Donatello's "Ida", under his own name, Jamieson now returns as Mono Electric Orchestra to rework "Organik". Creating a sonic landscape of unparalleled quality, heavily effected reverse reverb hints at Khan's motifs as orchestral passages sing across the mid-range. Hitting its stride, a huge glissando bassline punches through the low-end in stripped back glory against a ticking percussive cadence, before the melodic structures build once more with a plucked riff and rousing string passages that are straight out of the Sasha production playbook. The result is a remix that is at the very pinnacle of underground dance and a timeless classic. Known simply to Proton Music faithful as Silinder, Gavin Mulhall has witnessed a long and distinguished history with the label. Aptly describing his music as "deep, dark and hypnotic with a melodic theme", the Irish artist has led a jewel-encrusted career with support from Sasha, Digweed and Zabiela to name but a few. 400 production credits sit proudly next to the Silinder name and his work has consistently found its way onto an array of blue-chip labels that include Sudbeat, Perspectives Digital and Jackpot Records. Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
