With its continuous stream of delightful dancefloor fodder, Happy Camper Records is slowly but surely manifesting itself as one of Berlin's hottest new labels. After two critically acclaimed releases by Noraj Cue and Jake the Rapper, it is now Britta Arnold's turn to stir things up. The KaterBlau resident and Happy Camper extraordinaire has teamed up with Watergate ledge Lee Jones (MyMy, Quantum Entanglement) to bring you Elefante Elegante - a monster of a track, backed by a powerful Pink Hangover, and remixed by two of Berlin's finest.

Elefante Elegante is a remarkable floorfiller, a mesmerizing musical journey of playful chords echoing over a relentless groove. Watergate resident Marco Resmann has given the original more of a techno flavor, with one of his signature break-glass-in-case-of-emergency remixes. Pink Hangover has a dreamier approach. It's like coming home after a long raving rampage, watching the sun rise through your cracked window, pondering. Jose Noventa takes it down a notch, only to take the dreaminess up a notch or two.

Happy Camper 003 has a suitable soundtrack for each part of your extended weekend. Could it be because all of the contributing artists are residents of the world's undisputed rave capital? Is it a Berlin thing? Probably.

Siddhi is a Sanskrit term meaning "fulfillment". In Yoga, it designates a supernatural psychic power that can result from Samadhi (union, total concentration of the mind, contemplation, ecstasy). Every human being has the capacity to develop these powers (levitation, clairvoyance, invisibility, divine hearing, ..) by a rigorous work of the mind, in meditation and activation of certain chakras.

Hoomidaas Records is the record label of the DJ/artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist Armen Miran along with his partner Christina Acobiance. The word Hoomidaas is a stylized acronym for the phrase “who made us”, paying homage to how past narratives shape the present moment. Armen states, "I would not be who I am if it wasn’t for my past." This shows that he holds a deep respect for experiential knowledge above all else and intends to capture that through this label venture. Furthermore, when isolated as “hoom” in Armenian it means “raw” and when artists are invited to be a part of Hoomidaas releases Armen asks them to imagine what the raw part of the sun (the other side of the sun that we cant see) would look like. He loves to challenge their perspectives and hear what experiential wisdom emanates from his fellow creators. 
 
The music, artists, and artwork/design are a huge priority for Armen. His mission is to hand-craft every aspect of Hoomidaas adding to its memorable intrigue via his experiences travelling and playing shows. He tells us that, "a few years ago I played a 12 hour set surrounded by the most beautiful artwork all over the walls of the space. That space is called Rambalkoshe. Since then we have been collaborating with Rambalkoshe and they’re who made our vision and art design come to life for many of the illustrations associated with the label." The synchronistic nature of the partnerships he embarks on are a strong indicator that intuition combined with drive can take you somewhere truly magical. 
 
Currently the label works with a handful of artists. They have each of their artists release a mix on their mix series called “Midaas” which comes out every two months. Additionally the label releases bi-annual compilations, one in the summer called “Hoom Side of the Sun” and one for the winter called “Hoom Side of the Moon”.
